Parent: Montini is an outstanding high school, with an excellent prinicipal who is vested in the success of all students. The teachers are largely caring and supportive of the students, the resources are outstanding, and the students are a close-knit group who care about and support each other. Academics are rigorous, school spirit is high, friendships are strong, students feel safe, and an attitude of positivity is constantly cultivated. There are a variety of extra-curricular activities and students are encouraged to be involved. Freshman: I really love the sense of community at Trinity! Everyone is like a family! I also really like the academics. The international baccalaureate program is amazing in preparing everyone for college and the professional world. The arts at trinity are also amazing! From dance to choir it is all spectacular! Trinity has a fabulous art room complete with pottery and painting stations. Trinity also has a brand new gym with a dance studio inside. Alum: I graduated from PMSA in 2019. I enjoyed my time in high school but I definitely wish they would have been more of an overall highschool culture, PMSA doesn't have it's own sports teams (except robotics) or sport fields/gymnasium so that greatly affected 'school spirit'. Senior: IC Catholic Prep is an amazing school. At IC, we offer honors and AP classes, allowing students to test their knowledge. These classes may be rigorous, but it only pushes us to work harder. The teachers at IC are extremely friendly, always having open doors, they are ready to assist any student. Additionally, at IC we are not only active in the classroom, but we are also active outside of the classroom. Whether you are on the field or the stage, there are many ways to get involved. Senior: I was lucky enough to have parents who allowed me to choose where I wanted to go to high school, and after shadowing at Nazareth in seventh grade, I knew it was the school for me. The small, tight knit, family feel impression I received on my shadow day hasn’t changed throughout these past 4 years, and I couldn’t be happier with my high school decision. Alum: Went to Saint pats all four years and overall enjoyed my experience. There were many ups and downs but by the end of my four years I wasn’t ready to say goodbye. I participated in many different school activities both during the school day and after school. Whether it was participating it a school play or joining a sports team or other extracurricular, there was always something for everyone at the school. I cannot recount the numerous amounts of clubs that were constantly forming each year. I didn’t know a single person that had not attempted to join at least one club. For the longest time I hated attending class but once i started making friends and becoming an active part of the school, that hate turned into joy. Senior: I’m a senior in high school at Timothy and I've been a student here since preschool. I absolutely love it here. The community is amazing, it's super easy to make friends and the academics are challenging for those who want it. There is also a great support system if you fall behind that puts you right back on track. The teachers are very nice and understanding, and I often become friends with them throughout the school year. There are plenty of extracurricular activities that are open to all students from athletics, to academic clubs like Scholastic Bowl and Mock Trial. The arts are also a strong suit at Timothy with a concert band, orchestra, choirs, theater, and plenty of art classes. I personally am involved with band, both concert and jazz, scholastic bowl, National Honors Society, cross country, and track. Alum: CPSA is great for high-achieving, self-motivated students. It has a good Islamic curriculum supplemented by teaching Arabic. The secular education is advanced for every grade and subject (with honors/AP courses), and challenges students. There are a good amount of extracurriculars. But most of the teachers and staff focus on the cream of the crop students and leave behind the average/below average students. Also, the school has a very competitive atmosphere, rewarding high achievers and inadvertently putting the other students down, not giving them enough time and importance. Not every student is a straight-A individual who easily scores well on standardized tests. But those who can are put on display, and the rest are not able to reach that level of success, at least not with the school. CPSA isn't for everyone-just for those who can succeed on their own and need limited guidance. Senior: My experiences in ITW David Speer Academy during these past 4 years have been an amazing journey. ITW has taught me so many things not only academically but stuff that can help me in my adulthood. What's more amazing about this school is that every teacher likes to make a strong relationship with every student to make them feel like they're not their teacher but also a friend that they can count on them. People might say that this school is very strict but in reality, it's not there's just a rule that if you don't follow their consequences but I feel that its one of the things that I'm truly grateful for having because if it wasn't because of these rules and consquences we wouldn't be the mature people we are now.
