Freshman: All of the staff are very caring and willing to help if there's ever any sort of problem. The core classes offered are mostly fun, though it would be nice if they had a few more options for advanced students in subjects other than math. The Encore classes are all very fun and there are a lot of different ones to choose from, which was really nice. The school itself is pretty nice, the eighth grade wing has been recently updated, so that was by far the best year. The rest of the school, while not as new, is still really nice.... Read 2 reviews

Alum: Although from the outside, the school looks rather bland, it really is the people and experiences that come from the wonderful four years spent there. Even though Kalamazoo Christian is a small school, there are many activities that are available each semester. I engaged in basketball, tennis, theater, band, and the National Honor's Society. The teachers really get to know you and they want you to succeed. I made many memories in that building: Good and bad memories, but I would never change them. Senior: Mattawan high school gave me the best experience I could have imagined. Mattawan became a home to me that I didn’t realize until I was graduating. Mattawan was a comfort to me all of the teachers supported me and helped me along the way. The support system at Mattawan is one of the best. While others felt stuck in a small town I felt like I was thriving. I loved Mattawan high school, and I gained the best experiences imaginable. Of course, there were some ups and downs along the way, but Mattawan high schools staff did their absolute best to make this school thrive. I will forever be grateful for the experiences that Mattawan high school offered me. Overall, Mattawan is one of the best schools around, and I can say that without a doubt. You can feel the love from all the staff and they all genuinely care for you and want what’s best for each and every student. Parent: Our daughter expressed to us that she wanted a change of environment (from her public school) and Heritage has provided exactly what she needed. She had gone to a public school since she was in preschool. But the high school atmosphere became too much for her. We visited Heritage and our daughter knew this was where she wanted to be. She has been challenged academically as well as spiritually. I have seen her grow in her relationship with Christ and has started to develop friendships that she has much needed! Parent: Our experience at St. Augustine Cathedral School has been outstanding. The teachers, staff, and administrators are beyond exceptional. They are organized, attentive to the students, easy to communicate with, and a blessing to many families. The pandemic has only solidified our belief that this is the best school for our family. From the beginning, when the school quickly reorganized to move to online learning within days of the shutdown to operating in-person learning for the entirety of the 2020-2021 school year, their careful attention to safety, communication, and high standards have been impressive and appreciated. As a private, Catholic school spanning from preschool through eighth grade, St. A's truly creates a family environment that provides our daughter the best possible educational experience.
