Without a doubt, I have been extremely privileged to attend a high school that supports high achievements in academics, leadership roles, and actively engaging in activities outside of school. I had been on the bowling team for 2 years which I absolutely loved. I wouldn’t have thought I would have enjoyed it as much as I did. I also ran track and the team was super supportive and encouraging. I was privileged to have been able to take harder, more advanced courses to expand my mind and to push myself for ever greater success. I am very fortunate I was able to be apart of the CCP program (college credit plus) which allowed me to gain college experience and credit while being comfortable at my high school. Senior: I loved Ursuline Academy because of the loving and welcoming community. The environment with all girls creates a strong sisterhood were everyone is comfortable being themselves. Its mentality is putting peoples best work forward and always trying to improve the next time. The teachers are friendly and kind and want to make sure all their students understand their work. Our complex schedule definitely gets us ready for college with making sure that we have good time management skills. Of course there are areas that the school could improve on such as reaching out to be more diverse instead of an all white school. The food could be better with all the money that gets put into the school, and some of the equipment for sports teams and theater could be replaced. Overall, it is a great school with a intense focus on academics and leadership in the community where everyone can find there place at this school. Parent: My son moved to Schilling for high school from a rigorous private school where he never felt understood despite his high IQ. Now, he is a different child. He loves school again and thrives under the exceptionally qualified and caring teachers and staff. They go above and beyond the call of duty to challenge my son in his areas of strength and to help him overcome his areas of weakness. At Schilling, he is completing college level courses easily and loving every minute of it! His ninth grade Biology book was the exact same one my older son used in college, so I know he will not only be prepared for college but will excel there. The school administration deals fairly and efficiently with any problems that arise in a way that teaches the kids to solve or avoid future issues. Alum: CHCA offers a fantastic variety of experiences through sports, academics, service, and arts. I found many of my interests at the school and I feel very prepared for whatever may come. They have helped me build a strong faith. Unfortunately, many students there seem to be put there by their parents as an effort to allow the institution to fix the kid. This makes the community identical to a public school and you cant tell it is a Christian school. Parent: Moeller High School has been a perfect fit for our family. We are grateful that our sons are experiencing such a well-balanced high school experience. They are challenged by high level academic classes, participate in sports they are passionate about and have time to build relationships with other students. The House System has really helped them flourish as a part of a community, bringing students of different grade levels together to mentor each other and create bonds with individuals they may not have otherwise gotten to experience. Teachers are thoughtful, approachable and understand what it takes to teach young men. It's not only academics they teach but also life lessons to help these men beyond high school. Moeller has something for everyone - clubs, sports, service, academics, arts, leadership. Moeller is the perfect size - not too big and not too small for this family. Niche User: I would definitely choose this school again and I would have chose it earlier. This school is much better than the first elementary school my son attended. This school has a wide variety of extra curricular activities especially for being an elementary school. It is strong with school pride and spirit. My son's favorite things in the school are Physical Education, he loves Mr.Honthe (not sure if that's how you spell it), Music, he is also very fond of Mr.Jenkins, and Science. One of my favorite experiences was the Fun Run they had last year. Parent: We have had children at Royalmont for six years and have been very pleased. The community is amazing, the academics are strong, and the faith formation is wonderful. The new STEM lab with 3D printers is very impressive. We have had one child graduate from the high school with a full tuition scholarship to college! Parent: MHA… where do I begin! This school, this community has blessed us immensely! Each teacher has an overwhelming calm and deep patience. A gracious and kind demand for respect makes for a pleasant classroom environment to enhance learning. The PK program is an excellent starting place to help begin the shepherding process along side parents to start their children’s MHA journey. Kindergarten is equally vital here at MHA in our opinion as it firmly begins the foundation of reading through phonics by the Spaulding method. We are excited for our second child to start Kindergarten. PK at MHA has truly prepared her and she is even more excited to start Kindergarten in the fall. Parent: Wehave had one child that has graduated from Spring Valley Academy, and one who will graduate this year. Our first son started at Spring Valley his senior year, and his only regret was that he wasn’t there sooner. He loved it! Had so many great opportunities for learning local and abroad. Made many great Christian friends and was able to take college level classes, which gave him a head start in his engineering degree. He enjoyed the sports and music programs Spring Valley offered. Our second son has been at Spring Valley Academy for what will be five years. He has taken vantage of all the amazing opportunities that Spring Valley has to offer, especially the band and choir trips that go throughout the nation performing. Sophomore: I’ve enjoyed my overall experience at MND so far but it has its flaws. It’s good for students who want to explore their interests. As far as I’m aware, MND provides some great programs for sports, arts, performing arts, and more. Classes are also pretty good! I take almost entirely honors classes, and I think the teachers effectively teach for the most part and genuinely care about their students. The food is delicious, uniforms are comfortable, resources are useful, it does most things pretty well. But I think one of MND’s weakest points is it’s administration. They aren’t…terrible but they can sometimes be very passive aggressive and can handle situations poorly. (ex/homophobia, racism, etc.) Not the worst but many students, including myself, have been left disappointed more than once by them. Some student can also be pretty judgmental and ignorant, but the student body is fairly diverse, so there’s always a fair chance of meeting a group of great friends here!... Read 187 reviews

Junior: Bishop Fenwick High School is a fantastic college prep school. It truly lives up to the title of a college prep school as I am a Junior in high school and feel extreamly prepared for the college application and dicision process and feel about as prepared as I can be for college. Fenwick gives students the opportunity to take the Birkman assessment which truly helped me to make my dicision on what to major in. We take the PSAT and PACT as well as the ACT all in school. Our counselors are wonderful. They truly care about students in all aspects. They live up to their jobs in counseling on college very well. What I feel has been the greatest gift of going to Fenwick is the opportunity to take CCP classes. There are many CCP classes offered in school with our teachers and the online CCP classes are highly recommended. Parent: Our son started at Dayton Christian 4 years ago and we're thrilled with our experience in pre-K-2nd grade, especially during COVID. The school administration saw the urgency to return children to the classroom and normalcy as soon as possible. Our son is far beyond where his peers in public school are education-wise. The teachers' love for our children is apparent as well. In return, the school began a mission to create competitive compensation for the teachers that will help with retention and pay them their true worth. The addition of the gym and a renovation to create a new student life space for performance art, chapel, etc., shows the desire for long-term school improvements. The school shows responsibility in their approach for large capital projects by ensuring they have funding up front with multiple quotes for projects thus being good stewards of our money. Senior: I am going into my senior year at LBA, and Liberty Bible Academy is an excellent school for a Christ-centered education! The acronym LBA refers to Liberty Bible Academy, but also refers to their mission to "Love, Believe, Achieve." This is in the perfect order (1 Corinthians 13:13). This school is 100% dedicated to that first aspect of their mission (and the others!)! This school is founded on passages like 1 Corinthians 13. They are unwavering in their Biblical commitments, even when it is counter-cultural (Young earth creationism, pro-life, no gay "marriage", etc.) They will not tolerate sinful behavior, yet there is plentiful grace. The teachers are always joyously eager to help the students in any way possible inside school and outside! Once I needed a ride to work, I emailed my teachers to see who could help, and I got multiple quick responses with teachers ready to help. Senior: I loved the staff at Lebanon High School however the behavior that my peers got away with was completely unacceptable. There needed to be harsher punishments, more rules, and more cameras. I saw too many kids get bullied, beaten up, drugged, and inappropriately touched. The issues that did get down to the office often occurred again because of the lack of punishment and follow-through. There was also a lack of effort amongst my class to apply themselves ins school because they knew yet again there would be no punishment. They did not get held back or punished just got extra time and rewards to try to motivate them. Overall, Lebanon High School staff was amazing but the student atmosphere needs improvement for the reasons mentioned above. Vaping was another apparent issue at Lebanon High. There were rules set in place but no follow-through and there were never any monitors or sensors placed by bathrooms or places students would vape.
