Senior: Richland High School is very unity oriented! There is a large emphasis placed in school spirit and supporting each other. The sports programs are competitive, as is the music program. I do, however, think there is sometimes some lack of emphasis on the music program. For example, last school year there was an orchestra class without a classroom. The class had to resort to practicing on the stage, in foyers, sharing a classroom, or splitting up into practice rooms, and if none are available, a bathroom. The teachers and staff are generally very positive and encouraging of the students. The counselors, specifically, are very proactive and are always willing to help a student with various needs. The staff are very good at making their classrooms feel like a safe place for students to be. Overall, the school is very inclusive and focused on uplifting and preparing its students!...
