Senior: I enjoyed many things about Mankato East. Many of the teachers have made a lasting impression on me. The curriculum offers rigorous, yet enjoyable work that elevates your critical thinking skills and understanding. My one grievance with this school is the administration and its relationship with sports. The high school unfairly diverts more money to its larger programs (Football, Basketball, Hockey, Baseball) even if they are wholly unsuccessful during their season. However, with Cross-Country teams dominating meets and Tennis growing as each year, the teams still haven't been given new jerseys in 5 years. If the school can afford a custom basketball when a player reaches 1,000 career points, they can certainly buy 50 new uniforms for runners and tennis players.

High School Senior: I love my teacher! Cheesy, I know but she really is the heart of my school. Without my wonderful teacher, Ms. Tolzmann, she not only is an amazing teacher of 9th, 10th, 12th, and AP Lit& Comp but is also the Drama Club Advisor, Yearbook Advisor, SADD Advisor, One Act Play Director, and All School Director.

Senior: I honestly love this school. I can't say enough good things. All the teachers are very nice and amazing at helping the kids at our school. Our sports teams are very good and the coaches know what they are doing. Everyone gets equal playing times. Our school clubs always welcomes new members with a smile. There is know leader in the clubs we all get to decide what happens. The school does have a school history club. They plan out the school year with history lessons for kids that are interested in history. In the summertime, the teacher takes about 50-80 kids to 12 different states in two weeks.

High School Senior: My school is the perfect size for one on one attention. Teachers really care about their students and what they are going through inside and outside of the classroom. Students are very encouraging towards each other. The students are competitive in a positive way. Everyone pushes each other to do their best.
