Freshman: This school is excellent! I am currently a freshman and i have never felt more at home. There is however a concern that there are not in enough AP courses. I do not find this a problem because if you take advantage of the ones given to you colleges will acknowledge that. Parent: We sent our pre-K child to this school, with intentions of leave him there for a few years until we bought a house in which we would switch him to that school district. Regardless of where we move we’ll absolutely be leaving him at ISI. His teacher was absolutely amazing in every way, The staff is always friendly and can answer/resolve any questions/issues you may have, all staff members genuinely care about the kids. Additionally The language immersion is integrated into the curriculums so well, it far exceeded my expectations. The lesson plans, daily activities, events, and Programs all appear thought out and well planned. I genuinely love having my kiddo at the school, because I know he’s in good hands. Junior: The school has been nothing but extraordinary. It is one which gives a vast span academic rigor and the 11:1 student-faculty ratio gives an amazing opportunity for one-on-one student teacher time. The teachers and staffing do everything with student success in mind. Not only this, but there are many times throughout the day built in for students to meet with teachers in subject offices, complete homework or socialize. The school does an amazing job of providing a great balance between work and fun. With students constantly attending sporting events, club meetings and other school led activities, the different grade levels are able to interact. Also, it is not super religious. Students can participate in relies events at their choice. The school offers amazing scholarship opportunities and highly ranked athletic teams (2021-22 W. Volleyball, M. Soccer, M. Senior: Community really is the main focus of University High School, and this is what I have most appreciated in my time there. The faculty and staff are all extremely kind, and truly care about the wellbeing of every student. The education I have received there has also been wonderful. There are so many different class options, that no matter what your interest is, there is a class for you. Senior: In general, Herron High School is a wonderful place to get an education. The teachers all genuinely care about the students, and treat them as fellow people. Students are polite and spirited, and unique! There's so much diversity in these halls. The main issues are with communication- emails can be confusing and either too frequent or not frequent enough, scheduling is strange, and overall Herron is a very nontraditional school, which can work for some but definitely won't work for all.... Alum: My experience at Brownsburg high school was in between the years of 2016-2020 where I got to see the good and the bad. During my four years of high school I dealt with construction and COVID-19. With that being said though, Brownsburg was probably the best place I could have asked for to have such an amazing high school experience. With the entire school now almost completely renovated, the building allows a great space for students to learn everyday. The teachers are dedicated to giving their students a great education which was highly appreciated. They offer plenty of extracurriculars and AP classes for students who want to participate in sports, choir, clubs, or just challenge themselves in a more advanced learning. Overall, they are unmatched and with the size continuing to grow they still manage to make every student feel seen and appreciated. Parent: Heritage is the best college prep school, hands down! We have loved our high school experience there. Even in the depths of the pandemic and the year cut short, Heritage adapted quickly, with the distance learning and quality videos of caring teachers! It was the most thoughtful, and educational, experience. I’d recommend anyone looking for a great college prep school to seriously consider Heritage. It’s more affordable than a lot of the private schools and I believe the education, and faith journey teachings cannot be compared. Our daughter got offers and scholarships for colleges with CU Boulder offering her 25k in scholarships and admittance to the honor college. Parent: I have a daughter in the Pre-K class and she absolutely loves it! Cornerstone Baptist Academy has a tremendous teaching staff this year. This is the best teaching staff they have ever had. They love the Lord, they love the students, there is now such a sweet spirit amongst the staff and student body. I highly recommend CBA to anyone with children in Pre-K through 12th grade. They have small class sizes which allows the teachers to spend quality time with each student, and allows them to know each student's name and it is a much closer-knit class that way.... Alum: My overall experience was pretty good. Most teachers were very helpful, sports were fun, and it is a good community. Lunches were always good and fueled me for the rest of my day.
