Senior: I've really, truly enjoyed my time here at St. Bede and it's been great meeting so many new friends, teachers, staff, etc. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly here, making me excited to go to school every day. There's always something new and exciting to look forward to each and every day so it makes going to school fun (as fun as school can get). The only thing I'd like to see change is more school spirit and hype for sports events. As an underclassman, I always saw how much fun the older kids would have cheering front row in the student section and I couldn't wait for it to be my turn. Now that it is, it's really not that exciting or fun. It's not the school's fault, really, but it's lowered my expectations about high school. I just wish these memories of football games, school dances, etc were more hyped up and fun because then it would bring fun memories for me to look back on post-graduation. Overall, I couldn't imagine myself spending my high school years anywhere else.... Read 80 reviews

Senior: It is a small town school. Everybody knows everybody. Some pros are that students can work with the teachers directly. There are excellent programs like the P3 program where students set up three goals with an adviser assigned to them. When the three goals are met, students get a check for $600! Not a bad deal when trying to improve academically or personally. It is a win-win.... Read 17 reviews

Alum: Putnam County Junior High School is a great school. Junior high is a trying time for all kids, but the fantastic teachers and their dedication to the kids that attend is top notch. Sports is a big deal at this school, but it is definitely not everything. There is also a great program for kids that are interested in music. I think it was a really great school to ease me into high school. They have great clubs to join for things you're interested in, and the food wasn't all that bad for school lunch. Putnam County Junior High is actually one of the places that my friends and I say that we miss even now that we're out of high school! A lot of good kids come out of the school system there....
