Parent: The teachers are kind and caring, and they responded immediately to my requests for course changes. They appreciate students for their individual talents. Senior: It is a good school the teachers are all very kind and know what they are talking about. There is a lack of sports because the high school only has +\/40 students. The curriculum for most classes will prepare you for college. The downsides of the school is that they don’t have a variety of classes to choose from. And you are required to take Latin all four years, even though the rule book requires 2 and the you can take a different language for another 2 years. The administration/ school board don’t always listen to the students and do what they want to do, not what might be best. Over all the school is good and I am glad that I attend there... Senior: Simply put, CHS cares about students! We are a AA high school with 1450 students, and CHS goes above and beyond to include every student. Hands down, we have the best teachers, best administrators, best counselors, and best secretaries; they have the best energy, are the most helpful, and genuinely love their jobs. One of my favorite things about CHS is the expectations of their students. Our school motto is: Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be A Graduate; as students, we live by that code. We are expected to be responsible with ourselves and others, we are expected to be respectful to all, and we are expected to graduate from high school with being college and career ready. Senior: The teachers at Helena High have been some of the most amazing in my lifetime. I have been through so many struggles and learning moments that these teachers have become a home away from home and teachers that guided me in my toughest times. I have learned so much from the school experience and without some of these teachers I would of never figured out my future, decided my college pathways, and maybe would of never felt like my dreams are possible. The teachers and faculty at Helena High bring hope to the students and help them achieve their dreams. I would hope to see the school grow and for them to get enough funding to keep their amazing staff, while allowing them to improve the building and other parts of the schools department.... Senior: Helena Christian School is a good private school that offers it students a safe environment and by preparing us for the real world and college while still having a very set system. Senior: As a student of the second class to ever graduate, the class of 2024. I have had an amazing high school experience, it was far from a normal one for sure but that’s what made it unique. I’d say my class will probably be forgotten as time goes as we were always overshadowed by the class of 2023 and out preformed by the class of 2025. We will more the likely go down as the smallest class ever at East Helena High School. If I had to say so myself our class probably had one of the wildest high school experiences ever. I mean from being the first freshman class in the actual school to the pandemic and so much more it was a wild ride and one not to be forgotten.... Read 7 reviews
