Parent: We have two students at Holy Trinity. They are both excelling academically and involved in clubs and sports. The Forensics team is amazing and very active! Also, the Theater program is very strong. Since it is a small school, anyone who wants to be on a spots team can join. I love that my kids get to try so many different activities and find the ones they are passionate about. While my children do well in their advanced classes, they are challenged and are not allowed to "coast". Their teachers push them to succeed and are available for one-on-one time, if needed. Communication is sometimes an issue. We aren't always given adequate information or notice from the office staff pertaining to activities or events, but it is improving. Alum: I say this as a LGBT+ alumni who was there for almost my entire highschool and middleschool period. It's a great school for elementary students and has pretty good disability help but it can't help from being what its name states, a Christian, close-minded, and if you read their guidebook, is very willing to kick children out if they openly support or state they are in anyway associated with LGBT+. Many members who work in the school have stated some unsatisfactory opinions on a slew of topics but fortunately, their English reading choices are very open and don't prevent people from reading by some standards "banned" books. It's quite a college ready school. It works well with a dual credit class or two so it does its best with the budget it has to make every student college ready. Middle School Student: Memorial Christian Academy is a very good school. The education is very one on one and you have fun while learning as well. Middle School Student: Union Grove Middle School has many cool electives. There are many teachers who are very passionate about teaching and love their job. UGMS has proven to have bright, educated students. During the district wide UIL Contest with at least 12 other middle schools Union Grove has won or been close to winning every time. All I wish for is a more experienced orchestra teacher and newer gym showers/stalls. Union Grove is located near a military base, so many students are widely diverse. I have never seen any bullying and everyone is accepted. I am grateful for Pre-AP classes which are ahead of regular classes so I can meet people with the same learning skills.... Read 2 reviews

Parent: I have two children, who have attended Skipcha Elementary. First, the teachers and staff are amazing, you can tell they actually care about the children, their learning, and mental well being. The building and facilities are also amazing, they have a wonderful computer lab, piano lab, library, and playgrounds. When looking for a home be selected location for this school!! Junior: My experience at Harker Heights has been an overall positive experience in every aspect of my high school student career. My freshman year was in 2020 during the coronavirus outbreak. As an online student, the teachers did an excellent job of teaching and communicating while meeting the accommodations of both online and in-person learners. My sophomore year was my first year as an in-person learner at harker Heights high school. Administration did a good job at pushing safety guidelines and the teachers were well-prepared to take on the challenges of the new school year. In my current 11th grade year, while it is has been my most challenging academic year, has been very beneficial as my teachers hold my learning experience to a high standard. Along with academics, my extra curricular activities such as basketball, track, and sculpture have taught me new lessons and skills that I will carry with me for years to come-thanks to those at Harker Heights high school that value their jobs.... Parent: My 3 children attended Mountain View (2 in Kindergarten thru 2nd grade, and 1 in 4th & 5th grade, before moving over to Union Grove MS), from 2009-2012. Everyone we worked with (teachers, staff, PTA) was really great! We were not on reduced lunch or anything like that but I did put a LOT of time into the PTA and other volunteering opportunities. Many of the aides have gone on to earn their teaching degrees. And we were fortunate to have had one of the BEST Kindergarten teachers just before she retired (Mrs. Skidmore). The only minor incidents we ever had were a improper fit for Kindergarten (before Mrs. Skidmore) and one classmate bullying several children before he was caught and corrected. Senior: When it comes to my experience at Ellison, transfering to this school was easy and transfering my credits wasn't a problem. Each important office had big letters above the door to help guide new students around the campus. Tips from students and staff would recommend me the best food places and how to obtain free food on certain days. Middle School Student: Rancier is a good school they have good teachers and i've learned a lot more of what they taught me compared to manor its a sad school, some of the teachers hardly control the students and some of the teachers have their mask down but their the one telling the students to pull their mask up. and saying that they have children at home and have a family member that has cancer and that she doesn't want them to get sick but yet their the ones with the mask down instead of up. so yes in mine opinion Rancier Middle School is clean and better then what Manor middle school is....
