Senior: I have gone to Munster High School for all four years of high school. I'm proud to say i will be graduating from here. Munster acadamics is ahead of most other local schools even in the elementry schools. I remember transferring into the Munster School System in 3rd grade and realizes my old school was almost a grade level behind. The students already knew multipulation from 2nd grade and i have yet to learn past multiples of five. Munster provides great resources for students. They provide a club or sport for everyone to feel included. They provide an experience you will remember acadamically and non-acadamically. On a downside, i have had multiple experiences that they hired teachers that did not belong. Many teachers were fired or quit due to the high standards or the pressure from students that demand their education. Middle School Student: Overall had a good experience in terms of the education. There were a good amount of dedicated, focused, inspiring teachers. The teacher had very engaging lessons, along with going above and beyond, helping students personally to help understand the material in front of them. Of course, like most schools, not everything is perfect. The benefits the school, although, outweighs the bad. There is a good environment for extracurricular activities at Wilbur Wright Middle school, always ranking high in their class. Senior: Couldn't ask for a better high school experience. Every single teacher I had was extremely patient, enthusiastic, and overall just willing to work with the class. I know I can't speak for everyone, but this was at least my experience. Faith life is also very good, especially having the experience to go on Kairos and to school masses. The introduction to community period really helped me to stay a little more on top of my work, definitely helping with stress levels. Honestly, campus is extremely easy to navigate after a few days and although it isn't top tier facilities, everything gets the job done. I've been able to notice subtle improvements across the whole school throughout the time I've been there, so I know there are always going to be small improvements here and there to keep everything rolling smooth.... Senior: My whole life I knew I was going to attend Andrean. I have had countless cousins that have gone through Andrean and are now Alumnis. Honestly, I anticipated Andrean to be like any other school. The only thing I expected to get from Andrean was a diploma at the end of my four years. However, I quickly learned this school had so much to offer me. I am a senior now, and I am a completely different person than I was 4 years ago. I find myself to be more charitable. Andrean has monthly service projects that allow students to give back to their communities. These opportunities have taught me the power of helping those in need. I am also more organized. Parent: We came from a top rated Chicago suburb as our daughter wanted something different. We could not be more pleased. This year at Christmas our daughter said she wanted to get her teachers gifts as she said, "at this school I really like my teachers." Our daughter is excelling - she enjoys learning and the teachers give her the tools and teaching needed to be successful. She is motivated and happy. The coaches are great and work with students who are strong players and also those who are new to the sport. There are plenty of activities to address all interests. Senior: My experience at Bishop Noll institute has been amazing and unforgettable. I am part of the graduating class of 2023. I have been at Bishop Noll institute since my freshman and have grown up here. During my freshman year, the pandemic started and the staff and administrators have maybe the school safe and still fun, exciting, and engaging. The one thing that stands out here a Bishop Noll is the family environment. The School is rather, so it is easy to get know everyone and to really become close to them. The school offers a ton of clubs and programs p to help people become engaged and included. The one thing I would love to see change is a better representation of different races, ethnicities, and cultural. The school is very diversified but it needs to do a better job of making sure all the different students can be seen and heard. Senior: Noble Street College Prep is a school where you probably don't expect much from the environment or the teachers. But, as a student, I've gradually grown to appreciate this school and what it has to offer.As a senior, I dearly appreciate my college seminar teachers because they are the most helpful people here to set you up for life after high school. Alum: Like anything in life, there are pros and cons, especially in this case as well. In my eyes, education is extremely important in any school, and I believe Highland does a very good job. The majority of all the teachers, staff, and faculty truly want to help in any way, shape, or form they can regardless of the situation, such as school/education, personal, etc. The school and class sizes are very nice, relative, and proportional. Following the rules, whether they are school, class, or teacher rules, will see you through successfully. There are plenty of extracurricular activities including sports, music, theater, service, and specific fields of interest for everyone to enjoy and participate in. I believe this school takes safety as the most important issue and I felt that was very noteworthy and made me feel safe. Alum: As a high school senior on track to graduate from Highland High reflecting back on Highland Middle school brings a warm feeling of nostalgia. Highland Middle school is full of the most passionate and creative teachers! The curriculum is well designed for diversity so you can find passions and focus on them with your tailored high school class schedule. I can’t think of a single teacher that wasn’t anticipating in readiness and radiating willingness to help a student in the most personal way possible. Parent: I have been involved with many schools over the years, both public and private. PCS is by far the best I’ve seen. The certified and/or licensed teachers have varying degrees, and are amazing teachers. They actually love and care so much about the students. They have a diverse student body. The safety standards are the best I’ve encountered. This administration is really doing a great job demonstrating a Christian World View, as well as maintaining high standards and expectations academically and behaviorally for staff and students alike. Money is definitely not a priority, as I’ve read from some reviews years ago. Christian character, respect, humility, and a godly perspective from both students and their families is what I’ve seen most prevalent at PCS. Junior: I like that Whiting gets to prepare you for college, and the counselor is really helpful. She sits down with you and talks about your future career and helps picks classes needed for your future career. The sports are lacking because soccer,swim, and track are must haves but don't have them because of football. My school is focused around football and that's where all the sport funding goes to, but our team hasn't won anything in years. Tennis and cross country have won more things than football and baseball have had. Funding should be going to them and to help build a bigger track for a team.
