Parent: Our son is smart, but not driven. He needed motivation to push him to achieve. He received excellent counseling, guidance, and academic help from the teachers and staff at St. A. Prep. We believe that, because he was neither a “brilliant” nor a “troubled” student, he would have fallen through the cracks at our local public school. Most of his teachers have been great. Some have been truly exceptional. The counselors and academic staff have been priceless. He loves his school. Bullying at St. A is non exsistant, and all the boys support and look out for one another. It might sound corny, but they truly treat each other as brothers. Senior: When deciding to go to a school, I was very happy with my decision to apply and pursue going to CCTEC! I feel like I'm paid attention to, and as a student who wants to grow both in and outside academic education, their attention is very helpful. I feel very, very safe in this school environment as well. I do think that there needs to be more music and arts programs, since we only have one art class as an elective that can only be taken one year. There is not much attention to music either, and as someone who really wanted to pursue something in the music industry, not having a portfolio ready has been a setback. Junior: I am a Junior at HSHS, and I love it. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, sometimes cliquey on sports teams but once you find your people you will love it!! Food is awesome. Teachers are always willing to help out and will really help you understand material. At HSHS, you will be pushed and do thinks you’d never thought you would do. Try new sports and clubs, and it is encouraged because of the same class size. Everyone knows everyone which is something I love, it feels like family. Junior: I recently transferred to this school from Vineland High School; I'm a junior in high school. I transferred a month late into the year, so I was worried about how I would be able to adjust. However, I felt safe, comfortable, and welcomed right away. Most of the people are very friendly, and I love that there's a Bible class and a Chapel service. I also really love how everything that is taught has God's Word rooted into it. The school isn't perfect, it does have some flaws. However, I have to say that I really do love this school, and I never thought I would be saying "I love school". I definitely recommend coming to this school if you're a Christian student. Senior: There were lots and lots of fights, more than most peoples sending districts high school. The food kind of really sucked but was edible most days. A lot of people went there because they didn't wanna get attacked at their normal highschool, some of these people having little to no passion in what they were majoring in. High School Senior: Being at my high school gave me so many so opportunities . I could try anything I wanted , be anything I wanted , accomplish anything I wanted . They give you so many events and responsibilities in this school that there's no specific time you'll be heading home because you know there's so much to still do here . Run for president , join the Spanish interest club , be apart of the prom committee , help build the garden outside our library , its all endless and random . This school is unique because not only do our activities keep us busy and happy , our faculty and staff keeps us happy. We treat each other like family and enforce our school pride on anyone and everyone. Most of our teachers were students at this school. Parent: We have been part of the St Mary’s family for over ten years.. I have two kids that attend St Mary’s school and we just love it. The sense of community is very strong at SMS. The teachers have all been great and I have can get in touch with them anytime I had any questions or concerns. We love the way they incorporate technology into the classroom. The sports programs are well organized and SMS offers a lot of extracurricular activities. The administration are all really very nice, approachable and they have become true friends over the years. St Mary’s really takes safety seriously and has adapted many security protocols so I feel very safe with my kids there. It’s also right around the corner from the Police Station which is great! The education rooted in faith has really help molded my kids into kind, loving tweens and not just my own children but the support I see from their peers is remarkable. Niche User: We have 2 girls in SJRS and love it. We believe we are giving our children the best education available in our area and look at the school as an investment in their future. The girls enjoy going to school and learning. They are excited to come home and tell us some interesting fact they learned that day. We love seeing their passion for knowledge embraced and nurtured by the teachers. We have always been able to contact the teachers or staff if we had a question or an issue. Because it is a smaller school then public there is a sense of community throughout. The teachers and staff at the school know who the children are; this provides the children with a sense of security, safety, and comfort. The class sizes may be a bit larger then public schools but every student in the class is there to learn. There are no continued behavioral interruptions during class time. We have never felt our girls we prohibited from learning because of the class size. One of our favorite things about the school is that it reinforces the values and morals we teach at home.
