Parent: TES is truly a breath of fresh air. All staff listens and keeps their word. Their nurse deserves some type of special award as well. The parents are supper involved and it’s awesome. The way they make it a priority to be outside in nature as much as possible is incredible. Lots of events to get to know your kids teachers and peers. The hands on approach makes learning so fun and my kids love it! Everyone at yes seems to truly care and are passionate for what they do. They are well organized and have been so patient with my youngest as we work on an IEP that works for him. Coach Cleve names every single kid as they arrive in the morning and it’s truly impressive! Alum: Bradford Academy provides a Classical Christian education which emphasizes grammar, logic, and rhetoric through a rigorous academic curriculum. I started at Bradford when they only had K-4th grades, so I have been able to experience Bradford's expansion and growing pains. I loved the challenge that the elementary school provides in growing the students via memorization and establishing Biblical foundations. During middle school, I began to develop critical thinking skills. This phase is unique because I was taught to acknowledge and wrestle with differences between a Biblical foundation and the world around me. By far, my favorite experiences were during my high school years, because I was taught to be confident while verbalizing and arguing for my own positions. Bradford is very liberal arts focused, so the science program is not as developed, but it is improving rapidly. Senior: I can proudly say that I had the best four years at ABSS Early College. My high school teachers were very understanding and at times I would forget they were my teachers and that I was simply just talking to a friend. Everyone who goes here has the objective of wanting to learn which is also nice. It is not like a regular high school but the staff at ABSS Early College make it their goal to give you the closest experience as possible to one. It is also pretty cool that you get to graduate with a high school diploma and Associate. Freshman: The Burlington School has been an amazing experience for me. The teachers are wonderful, and they get to know you on a personal level. I have never been to an actual school until my freshman year, and everyone in the school was welcoming and nice. Some students may say that a lot of the teachers are harsh, in the end they are just preparing us for college, and I greatly appreciate that. I would say that getting this kind of education has been my greatest experience, but the worst part of my experience would probably be how disciplined you have to be when it comes to homework, and doing your work in class. Alum: Burlington Christian Academy is a great school for kids of all ages. The way the faculty gets students ready for either college or life after high school is very encouraging. All teachers are other faculty are always supportive of students' plans after graduation, no matter what that path may be. The school does a great job at putting rules into place to keep the school safe, clean, and in a healthy Christian environment. God is implemented into nearly every class and God's loving-kindness is shown to every student through the other students and through each and every faculty member. Alum: My experience at Williams High School made me who I am today. It was challenging, and strange, and filled with uncertainty, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I’ll fondly remember the Friday Night Lights, theatrical productions, swim meets, and poetry slams that shaped my perception of the high school experience. I look back regretfully on the teachers that didn’t understand my struggles, or the administration that wouldn’t advocate for me. I remember the senior year that COVID so cruelly stole from me. Senior: I have been to a different high school each of my 4 years. With Western Alamance being the last, I would say that the best part is the Art and student involvement in sports. I took the intermediate art class with Mr. Simpson and I loved the class. It really helped me to sharpen my skills and learn multiple different techniques towards drawing specifically. Though I did not get a chance to take the proficient class, I’m sure that it would have sharped my skills even more and helped me grow as an artist. I also enjoyed my earth and environmental class with Mr. Brown. He is a very kind hearted man who makes his lessons and work fun but still informational. Student involvement in sports is a very big thing here as well. Every game is packed and it is hard to find a seat, announcers, teammates, and spectators all cheer for everyone. If you are into sports of art I would recommend going to western. If I could change anything, I would change the rules set on simple things like bathroom times.... Read 216 reviews

Other: Graham High School wasn't the best experience, but it wasn't the worst. The teachers definitely engaged with you which was a good thing for the students.
