Senior: Flushing High School has a great environment. I have always felt welcomed and safe at school. The staff members are very involved with the students, my peers have always been helpful, and I have access to the things that I need to do my best. Flushing has also handled difficult situations, like the pandemic, very well. They do an amazing job of finding solutions to issues that may arise. Senior: I go to springview i got taught every thing since 1st through 5th grade so far and i LOVE IT if your thinking about taking your child there consider it the best thing you have ever done but there are a few ups and down but over all it is one of the best schools i have ever been to so consider your selves one of the very very talented kids that go they will teach you every thing you need to know for middle school and all the teachers there are AMAZING i mean i love every single one of them and if you get to now then consider your self lucky... Senior: International Academy of flint challenges you to work harder in your academics. If you have never been challenged before in Academics, International is the place to be. You can guarantee curriculum that will make you work and have to think. International is not a school where you don’t have to study for an upcoming test, because you WILL need to study. Something that should change at International is that even though it is a college prep school it can sometimes be too challenging. You could have 3 tests a day or have 6 tests in one week. Alum: I went to way Academy when I was 12 years old. I started there in 8th grade and I stayed there until I graduated. What I like about Way Academy is that you can work at your own pace. You only have to go to the building for 4 hours and you can continue to do work at home. The teachers there are helpful and do their best to teach you. The school was also good for my brother. It was good for him because he has an IEP and they gave him extra help, he was even able to do his work slower then the rest of us. At way I ended up graduating highschool at 15. Way Academy is like any school they want their kids to do work, learn and graduate. They don't mind the talking as long as your being quite and still working. When I went they didn't have sports or dances I don't know if they do now but in my opinion graduating early and being able to work at your own pace is better.... Read 2 reviews

High School Sophomore: I liked my school a lot. The teachers were down to earth and there were no cliques. The school started doing this program that's been spreading from school to school called the Leader In Me program based on Sean Covey's books about the 7 Habits. It even inspired me to do a speech at my 8th graduation (because I'm pretty shy). Finally, the school gave some students, who were behind on work, the choice to catch up during lunch.
