#53 Best Private High Schools in Massachusetts
- Private School

Senior: For the most part, Falmouth Academy's academics and tight-knit community has been superb. Since there's roughly only 35 kids per grade, many tight bonds are able to be made between students. This small selection of students also allows for strong relationships with teachers, which has been very beneficial to excelling academically. All the faculty are very approachable, and I always feel safe being at Falmouth Academy.
Where Falmouth Academy lacks is student diversity in terms of what our personal beliefs are. Having varied politics and moral beliefs, I often refrain from speaking about these issues in class even though they are brought up almost everyday. I do this because I am the person that has different views than the strong liberal agenda brought up by the school, and mostly all my classmates. Many times I have been drilled because of my contrasting beliefs, and I wish that the school and the students would be more open to hearing opinions that they don't agree with.

#77 Best Public High Schools in Massachusetts

Senior: Falmouth was an amazing highschool, the teachers were always willing to help you get extra access to whatever help you needed, they implemented at 30 daily "study period" for all students to make sure we had time to catch up on late or missing assignments, retake quizzes and tests and learn whatever we missed if we were previously absent. They have a variety of extracurriculars, clubs and teams and were always willing to add more

#105 Best Public Middle Schools in Massachusetts
- Falmouth Public Schools, MA
- Rating 3.22 out of 5 9 reviews
Middle School Student: My experience with Lawrence was very good, all though I was only there for my 7th grade and it was cut short due to Covid-19. There are only enough good teachers for one team. The enrichment program is very engaging and the sports are very good, I wish they had a Hockey team though. The kids who complain about the dress code clearly have never wore a suit and tie to school, it really isn't that bad. The way the staff handle bullying and other situations, although it doesn't happen often, is very good. The lunch and food was very good. They have programs to have free or reduced lunch, they also have a breakfast program which was new last year.

Sandwich High School
#217 Best Public High Schools in Massachusetts
- Sandwich Public Schools, MA
- Rating 3.38 out of 5 133 reviews
Senior: Sandwich High School gets a lot of crap from those who go there, but most of it isn't deserved. Students are often pleasantly surprised to find brand new signs in the lobby, only to be disappointed when they realize that the locks on the bathroom stalls have not been fixed. Nonetheless, I cannot complain about my time at SHS. I firmly believe that I had some of the best high school teachers out there. Students aren't drawn to the school simply because of the classes or teachers, however. Many arrive freshman year already checking the bulletin board outside the chorus room for audition dates, while others find their home in unique clubs such as International Studies or Diversity Club (Sandwich isn't a diverse place, but the fact that there is a student-run club dedicated to education about and acceptance of others speaks worlds about the open-mindedness and curiosity of SHS students). Overall, SHS is a great school and I would (and do) encourage rising freshman to go there.
