Senior: My teachers were always supportive and there for me when I needed them. Class sizes support learning. Student engagement. They offered so much support during Covid and extra help to keep the students on the right path especially when online learning was a struggle for so many of us. I was offered a trip of a life time to Spain, Portugal and France. Teachers volunteered their time to travel with students and made this an experience of a lifetime. I chose Mercyhurst Preparatory School because it is a great place to go education-wise. Senior: The school is overall great with comprehensive facilities. Just this year an entirely new extension was put on the school with all sorts of modern technology and spaces that actually make learning feel more fun. The teachers can be hit or miss, but you will definitely be prepared for college. Mathematics and writing are two of the strongest features of the school. And the opportunity to take college classes at Gannon university is available to juniors and seniors. Alum: The teachers there were friendly and cared about each student. The other students were also very nice. The building was in good condition with lots of learning facilities. Junior: Erie is a very nice and welcoming school that accepts many people along with their unique interests. My experience at Erie was good where I was able to meet a variety of people and understand new things about myself in the process. Erie also offers many different clubs that prove just how accepting they are to different interests, cultures, and more. The only flaw I can see for student going to Erie is that there is not much support besides basic support when it comes to offering help for college and rarely was I told about my option along with scholarships, which I really wish I was.... Parent: Great little school. Teachers love and care for their students and give them extra help as needed. Elementary recently began STEM program and students are loving it. Both my boys played basketball here and my daughter played basketball and volleyball. Soccer is also available in the fall. Sons have graduated and went on to further their education.
