Works Here: I like that there is a full time para in the kindergarten class. There are more paras on this campus than on any other campus I have visited. The staff are a great bunch of people that enjoy working together as a team. Students learn a lot from watching the people they are involved with. The staff are doing more than teaching the academics they are teaching the students how to act as a team and work together.... Read 1 review

Parent: We love this school. We moved to AZ 2 years ago, and after multiple incidents of my daughter being bullied at one of the public schools, we enrolled her into Legacy. The teachers and staff are amazing! They have music and art classes which sadly are not available at the public schools. My daughter has built strong friendships with her classmates, and there is no bullying. I see Legacy students and parents where I work in maricopa, and the children all tell me how much they enjoy Legacy and that everyone is always kind to one another. They do flag ceremony in the morning and recite the pledge of allegiance. There is a lot of homework and studying to be done, but I think it’s exactly what children need. Alum: I really liked my time there, it was a very fun and challenging experience for me. The part that I loved about being at ASU prep was working independently in the hallway, English/Gov./ Econ., and Senior Seminar, which really helped me get ready for college. Also something that I really loved was the Mental Health days, in which the psychology class organized activities to help us relax during test days. The most challenging part was the school system, because I moved to the US on my senior year and the school system for high school is very different, but I had a lot of help from my teachers and peers, and that helped me get caught up with everything. A change that I would like to see would be lunch break, because I feel like it wasn’t enough to recharge and eat, so maybe a longer lunch break.... Read 77 reviews

Alum: I only attended Legacy Traditional School when I moved to Arizona before my 8th-grade year. While I was there I can safely say that it was 1000 times better than my old middle school. And I highly recommend it for anyone that is living in Casa Grande. The campus is very safe and the teaching staff is nice.... Read 3 reviews

Senior: Although I will admit that Mission Heights is not for everyone, I have enjoyed attending it for my high school years. I have been at Mission for four years, and have been pleased with what I have experienced. Mission is a small school, and my class consists of only 101 people. The teachers are incredible and genuinely care about their students' learning. I have never once hesitated to go to a teacher if I needed assistance, advice, or just someone to confide in. That being said, the school is lacking in major sports opportunities and the stereotypical "high school experience" that many upcoming students crave. Overall, I would recommend Mission to anyone who thrives in a small, close knit environment, but would suggest that anyone seeking a large school with lots of opportunities look elsewhere.... Senior: The school is amazing! The teachers their are really kind, great with students and if you ask for help with anything they will do their best to help you with it. They have a class during the school day where they will let you do your homework, take test that you missed or have to retake, even use it to go to your other teachers to help with work. My freshman year we took a class where they thought us stuff like taxes, getting a job etc. so we will know what to do when it comes to being in the real world.
