Junior: The teachers are excellent! One can have all other characteristics be awful, but the teachers are simply the highlight. It reminds me of medieval scholastic scholars and the founding of the first universities, where pupils would eagerly sit at their tutor's feet. With a very small class size, it's much easier to interact intellectually with not only the teachers but also other students. Senior: My experience at ABEC was all around great. At ABEC the moment you walk in you have a new family that is there for every up and down, just to talk, for support, and even for the extra push. The community at ABEC is one I have never seen before. The teachers and students are very well rounded and are the most determined. We have such an impact only being a small school and having less kids there is much room for leadership and volunteer in every aspect. I must say I will miss the close nit relationships!... Alum: I just graduated. The teachers were awesome, only had one bad one in first grade. Some are tough, but they all care about you a lot. There is not a football team, so our outing was always basketball games or a neighboring school's game. The students there, however, are all brats (rich kids mainly). It is not very diverse, and class sizes are small. I like the classes. My smallest was 6, largest was 22. Middle School Student: I am a student at Hawfields. The teachers so far, have been amazing and they will go to extents to make sure that you are learning everything that you need to know. I aced my North Carolina Final Exams for social studies because my teacher had made sure that I understood everything, but without cheating. This school has many nice people, and it shows that we are above average. I look forward to school every day because it is an environment that I feel welcome in! Senior: Williams is really a good high school in our area. We have a lot of clubs and other programs like IB and AP classes. The teachers have a good relationship with some students. The sports teams were actually good! Like the football and soccer team for example. Our music program is excellent! Senior: What do I like about Eastern Alamance High? If I were to be honest here it isn't the most ideal place but they have it put together. The staff and administration try their best to make sure each student passes each grade. While the school needs some serious work from the leaking hallways, to messy bathrooms(from students) it does have it's perks. I have had the pleasure of having some wonderful teachers here, however that is not always the case for some. My teachers have made me feel welcomed but also un-welcomed with their teaching strategies and how they run things in the classroom. I respect each teacher but some don't have the patience for these kids which can cause altercations. This school academically doesn't have a lot to offer unless you get a teacher with a great teaching style. Overall I think it is a great school its evolving every day into new things.... Parent: Clover Garden has been our school of choice since our daughter was a first-grader. We feel that CGS is a safe, nurturing environment where our child is not only learning the academic curriculum but also learning how to be a kind, productive leader. She takes part in several on-campus activities and genuinely loves her school. Her teachers know her name, take an interest in her inside and outside the classroom, and make her feel part of something bigger than a classroom. We highly recommend Clover Garden.... Senior: Graham High School is a name small located in Graham, North Carolina. It is an outside school, being that to go from building to building, you have to walk outside. I think having that attribute makes it a very unique school. I do now that Graham High does not have the best reputation due to the students, but it does have a lot of good qualities that I don’t believe enough people talk about. A program I am a part of is called “ Pre-Collegiate Academy. The program begins right when you enter Graham High as a freshmen, and it’s goal is for that you as a student will graduate with a high school degree, and an associates degree as well.
