Parent: Our son is smart, but not driven. He needed motivation to push him to achieve. He received excellent counseling, guidance, and academic help from the teachers and staff at St. A. Prep. We believe that, because he was neither a “brilliant” nor a “troubled” student, he would have fallen through the cracks at our local public school. Most of his teachers have been great. Some have been truly exceptional. The counselors and academic staff have been priceless. He loves his school. Bullying at St. A is non exsistant, and all the boys support and look out for one another. It might sound corny, but they truly treat each other as brothers. Senior: I'm currently a senior at EHTHS and I like attending this school. Our high school is very diverse and has about 3,000 students. Overall, I've never had any issues with the staff as they are very helpful and considerate. I think one let down about the school is the cafeteria food, but I think many schools have the same issue. One good thing about the school is that they have a good course selection including several AP classes. There are also no limited amount of AP classes you can take at EHT which is also a plus! Junior: I am a Junior at HSHS, and I love it. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, sometimes cliquey on sports teams but once you find your people you will love it!! Food is awesome. Teachers are always willing to help out and will really help you understand material. At HSHS, you will be pushed and do thinks you’d never thought you would do. Try new sports and clubs, and it is encouraged because of the same class size. Everyone knows everyone which is something I love, it feels like family. Senior: I was a transfer student from Mainland Regional High School, I had been going through a bullying incident where I lost all train of thought to my success. Atlantic County Institute of Technology offered me a great experience through high school with clubs, sports, and volunteer work around the school. They had great counselors throughout the four years, they made time for each students and specifically me. They offer great education with the career path that you choose. They even offer jobs your senior year in substitution for you academy classes which help you set your career path after you graduate. ACIT gives their students the opportunity to experience high school with different people from different districts in the area. It gives students the passage to divert within different cultures. Middle School Student: i am a 7th grade student at fernwood and all i have to say is that its a great school! the teachers are amazing. the clubs are cool and every fun to particapate in. the teachers love there jobs and which makes the class fun. the teacher make me want to keep learning. the school has made me relize the achivments i can accomplish and i am working on getting the honor roll. but all and the the school and everyone in it is great. the teachers treat us like human beings and if we have a bad day they understand this school will always be in my memory #fernwood pride!!!... Alum: I attended Alder Ave Middle School for 3 years and it was a great experience. All the teachers and librarian were always helpful. Great school system and had the best school years. Not only were the teachers great but also the school was organized and clean at all times. The hallways were decorated with students creations and it was always fun to see your own work. Senior: I've had a good time so far in Chartertech. Though the school is quite small, the education it offers and the staff's dedication to the student body is wonderful. Majors have a full hands-on experience, and have professional events to test what students have learned so far. The school also helps students prepare for their career of choice by teaching them how to build a string portfolio are resume. Niche User: We have 2 girls in SJRS and love it. We believe we are giving our children the best education available in our area and look at the school as an investment in their future. The girls enjoy going to school and learning. They are excited to come home and tell us some interesting fact they learned that day. We love seeing their passion for knowledge embraced and nurtured by the teachers. We have always been able to contact the teachers or staff if we had a question or an issue. Because it is a smaller school then public there is a sense of community throughout. The teachers and staff at the school know who the children are; this provides the children with a sense of security, safety, and comfort. The class sizes may be a bit larger then public schools but every student in the class is there to learn. There are no continued behavioral interruptions during class time. We have never felt our girls we prohibited from learning because of the class size. One of our favorite things about the school is that it reinforces the values and morals we teach at home. High School Senior: I had a great experience at Assumption School. If I ever had an issue of any sort, there was always someone willing to help.
