Freshman: Sewickley Academy is an exceptional K-12 school! I have been attending SA since elementary school, and I have now attended the school for 8 years. All of the teachers and faculty that I've interacted with throughout my years here have been extremely friendly and supportive, and the aspect that especially stands out here is the welcoming students and inclusive school culture. At SA, there are so many opportunities from athletics to arts to technology, and because of this, students are able to pick classes that allow them to pursue their personal interests. Because of the small class sizes, teachers are able to work with their students one-on-one if they are struggling in a certain class. Senior: I really like how much the teachers care about their students and the overall friendly staff. Anytime I’ve ever had to make up work or needed to meet outside of class the teachers have always been there. They genuinely care about wanting their students to succeed and will take the extra time in order to do so. Parent: Moving from TX to PA, our biggest concern was finding a good high school for our son. After visiting multiple schools in the area, we applied to OLSH and are so glad we did. Our son is doing very well there, his academic performance is much better than in public school, where he commented on the continuous disruptions and lack of order in the classroom. We like that the school shares the Christian values we want for our son, without being overbearing. Everyone we've dealt with has been very supportive and helpful. The academic course load challenges without being a grind. The school has that "Ivy-league" look to it, attractive tree-shaded grounds situated at the top of a hill, a fantastic chapel, inviting library. OLSH seems to be a great springboard to a quality university. Senior: My experience at Nazareth Prep has been great. I’ve been a student here since my 11th grade year. They have taught me so much compared to my other high school, Trinity Christian. Nazareth Prep gives all of their students internships. My internship this year is at Children’s Hospital. I am able to shadow different departments and learn more about the medical field. Nazareth prep Isn’t a big school, which means it gives you the opportunity to work with others and get to know everyone. Parent: I have three children who have all attended The Glen Montessori since birth. My family has loved every step along the way. The teachers at The Glen Montessori are outstanding. All of the head teachers have taught at The Glen Montessori for over ten years. This shows the teachers dedication to Montessori and overall milieu of the school. Parent: A wonderful place to send children to not only excel in academics, but to excel in Faith, as a child of God! St. James School has taught my children to love and honor God, all of God's children as well as themselves. The students of all ages respect and love every peer equally. I love how the older students have younger "buddies" to mentor throughout the year. Each of my children have felt accepted and welcome from day one! Alum: I have went 4 different elementary schools in my childhood, Rhema was the best. The teachers were kind, compassionate and fair. The school offered a lot of help to one of my siblings who had been struggling with a memory problem in his early years. My fellow classmates that I met years later, had grown up to be fine decent people, a few of them went on to do missionary work.
