Senior: I am a senior in high school who has been going to Lisa Academy since I was in elementary school. I've seen this school change in so many ways, mostly for the better! There isn't much extracurricular wise, if that bothers you then you probably wouldn't like it here. However, the college prep is insane. I feel much more prepared than my non-Lisa peers. If you're looking for a school that is hyperfocused on the future of its students, then this school is the perfect fit for you. Senior: I have had a great experience at Catholic High. There are lots of resources and opportunities to be challenged with and excel academically with, so I feel well prepared for college. There is a real sense of community with your classmates, and you have a bond with anyone who has ever been there because of the many experiences and traditions you will share. My favorite part about Catholic is the teachers, most of them at least. Alum: I had a great time at Mount St. Mary and was very well prepared to go to college by the end of my 4 years there. It is an all girls private HS, so it comes with its challenges, but the main message is extremely inspiring and motivating- empowering young women. Senior: At eStem, I enjoyed the company of my classmates and faculty. The people there make you feel like you are a family and are apart of something big! I had a lot of fun in and out of the classroom because everyone tries to encourage you to do your best. It is so easy to be involved within the school because there is a variety of sports, clubs, and activities you can be in. I had wonderful teachers who pushed me to work harder and helped me when I was confused. Senior: Overall, the school system helps the student grow and learn many life skills. It effectively prevents bullying. The wide range of clubs and activities can open students' minds to discovering new career options or interests. They include many STEM fields and interests. Teachers support your passion and lend a helping hand on rough subjects. The lack of bullying is fantastic, yet, the school needs to adjust their homework schedules; it can become overbearing to a few students when they can also be taking AP courses. Alum: My experience at Sheridan High School was so memorable. I am so blessed to have grown up in a district with my friends. The teachers in Sheridan have a special gift for loving students and making an impact on their lives. I learned so many life lessons in high school from my teachers that I simply couldn’t have gotten anywhere else. They truly care. This made learning invigorating. I knew throughout my education that I would have dozens of teachers pushing me to be my very best. One of my favorite things about Sheridan though, is our find arts department. Along with being on the dance team, I participated in marching band, theater, and art class. That was where I could truly thrive. The fine arts teachers have so much talent and I was really pushed to excel in those classes. I wouldn’t change my high school experience at all. Senior: My first time ever going into High school was in my ninth grade year. All my life before then, I had been home schooled. It was a tough transition, but when I was finally able to adjust to the cultural, I loved it! I love how all faculty and staff are so supportive and will help any student with a drop of a hat. I have a counselor who is so helpful, she helps me apply and prepare for college. I love how much the cultural is focused on Christ as we are all unified as one school and family. It was so easy to get involved at Southwest. I am in Student council, Worship team, competition choir, Softball captain and a teachers aid. I'm thankful for my school. It's not just a school to me, it's a family and I'm thankful for that. It's been amazing to join Southwest Christian academy.
