Senior: If you want a safe and encouraging space to explore and immerse yourself in your interests, then G.W. Carver Center for Arts & Technology is for you. With 11 primes/magnets, there is something for everybody, whether it's acting or game design or even culinary arts! There are plenty of opportunities for students to work on projects for their primes, and there's even a 30-minute break in the middle of the day, called "Wildcat Time", where students can choose to attend a club, study for classes, or just relax. My teachers are extremely kind and encouraging, and they always take time out of their day to help me understand concepts I may struggle with, and I can tell they really want us as students to succeed. There's also many opportunities for students to showcase their work, especially at the annual Carver Celebration, which is a fundraiser that raises money for the school while displaying students' works from that year.
