Parent: My girls have been in FSA for 4 years and just started their high school journey. This is an amazing school with great academics, engaging faculty and administrative team, and wonderful hardworking students. It’s also a super safe environment where all culture and diverse background are celebrated and cohabiting harmoniously. Academic competition does exist but in a friendly and positive manner. My girls constantly review and study with their friends prior to tests and exams. Students also share notes, learning tips, and even offer to help their classmates on subjects they have advanced knowledge of. The school is also working really hard on sports teams and trying to expand the art program. Student clubs and leadership opportunities are abundant and academic competition is a must for everyone. Parent: We just LOVE this school! Growing up going to a very high end private school I never thought we could get more out of charter school but ICSA is the best of the best! The staff and teachers here truly care about the students and the education they provide is second to none! Our daughter was ahead of the curve at her last school in California so we were looking for a language school to enhance her educational portfolio and keep her engaged in school, well ICSA did just that! Alum: Alliance prepared me for college. The teachers were nice and efficient. Especially the specialized teachers for the Legal Pathway and the Graphic Design pathway. The best thing about Alliance is how the school made the students feel connected and have a sense of community. There were dozens of opportunities to be engaged. From clubs to academic organizations, Alliance offered a well rounded high school experience. If there was one thing I would improve, it would be to add more microwaves in the cafeteria. Senior: My overall experience at Forsyth Central High School has been very good! I have attended for all four years of my high school career. During my time, I met some of the best people that have become lifelong friends. I love how I have been able to connect with people from the same and different backgrounds as me. I have had some amazing teachers that not only pushed me to do my best academically, but to also become a better person. They have recently added a College and Career Center that I have found very helpful and useful. The school really prepares us for the future and provides us with sufficient resources. Something I hope to see improve is the accessibility with counselors. I also think the school could improve with its cleanliness. The art classes here have also been super fun. Junior: I transferred from another local private school to William & Reed for my Junior year, and I cannot say enough positive things about it! Parent: Being at CCA has been a great experience for our daughter and family. She started at Covenant Christian Academy in Kindergarten in the 2019-2020 school year. She has been taught all the basics you expect but in an environment that is loving, kind and Christ-Centered. The curriculum includes Jesus and God's Word throughout, which is why we chose a private Christ-centered school for her education. CCA is a small, humble school with small class sizes and a small campus. It's nothing fancy on the outside, but don't let the appearance deceive you. The teachers are wonderful, the staff is amazing, helpful and patient and the administration is top-notch. In addition, the other families we know from there are wonderful and the kids are kind and loving. We plan on keeping our daughter at CCA unless The Lord has us move somewhere else in the future.... Parent: children are kind and allow for uniqueness to be an asset not a liability. We came to HCA 3 years ago and while there have been speed bumps, the new headmaster, board and staff have revitalized the school and our experience here has been gratifying. We have 2 children, one in elementary and one in middle school. They are both thriving in the one-on-one environment. I love the curriculum used because it allows kids to actually retain information instead of force feeding too much information only to be over tested and soon forgotten. The staff does a wonderful job of challenging a child's strengths and encouraging growth when they struggle. The children are kind and allow for uniqueness to be an asset not a liability. Alum: I felt that Old Suwanee prepared me for the educational degree I chose to pursue in college. I made lifelong friends during my years spent here and maintained close relationships with my middle and high school teachers. Sports and participation in clubs are greatly encouraged, and I enjoyed the camaraderie with my fellow students and the personal growth I saw in my own life. While the teachers encourage a Spiritual priority, some of the student body is not nearly as concerned with living a life for the Lord as one could hope. However, this did provide me with the opportunity to be a leader for right and to practice standing for Christ.
