Freshman: It is an amazing experience to go to Overlake! Coming in as a new student, it was amazing how inclusive the students and faculty are. The teachers hold office hours and really want you to succeed. They even write extensive recommendations for outside school projects and applications. The teachers are honestly amazing and the coursework is challenging. For more advanced student they offer Honors and AP classes and the teachers will always push you regardless. The student body is amazing and since the campus is large you meet people from multiple different grades. Senior: As a rising senior, I know that my education at ICS has shaped me into the person I am. From 6th grade to the present, ICS has continued to challenge and engage me with its rigorous coursework (all honors classes). Each year builds upon what I have learned in the previous years, which has allowed me to excel in my classes. The teachers are amazing and dedicated to what they do. Although I may have missed out on some of the larger social aspects associated with a larger school, the small community at ICS is fun to be a part of, as you get to know everyone on an individual basis, including teachers, fellow students, and underclassman over the course of 6 years. There are lots of opportunities for mentorship and leadership with the clubs and activities here as well. Parent: This school has provided our three children an incredible foundation since preschool. Our children are now in 5th, 3rd and 1st grade and have developed a love for learning in all aspects of the curriculum. Junior: North Creek High School is an excellent school! My experience with North Creek High has been great with many events and awesome clubs. There are events like Homecoming, the Spring Fling, and our yearly Jag Day, where we set up games and celebrate school spirit. The clubs are diverse, from DECA, HOSA, and even Book Club, you can join any club! It's a good way to make new friends and to find out what you like. You can even start your club! The sports are great as well. The football games are perfect to show off school spirit and cheer on our team. North Creek has a beautiful campus, with great classes and teachers. The staff is helpful, and if you have any problems, there is always someone to help. My two favorite places are the Library, which has 2 levels, and a great selection of books, and the Commons, where Nutrition Break and our Lunches take place. Senior: My experience overall at Redmond High School was relatively good. There are some very qualified and inspiring teachers and staff who made my four years easier and pushed me to try my best. However, there are definitely some teachers at RHS who should not be teaching and who waste their students time and effort by teaching with low quality and self-centered motivations. The social climate at Redmond High is satisfactory at best, it can be very cliquey and dramatic but overall I do not have as many complaints, though there are some people at this school who should be held responsible for their actions instead of coddled like RHS tends to do.... Freshman: Eastside Catholic is a very welcoming school. I found the teachers very helpful, funny and kind. I understood concepts well and I enjoyed every day at school! The course selection is amazing and includes an array of subjects. I like the college readiness classes such as the UWHS classes. I found many classmates who were sweet and accepting of everyone. I liked Health class as it taught us many helpful strategies to tackle addiction, mental health, and improve overall wellbeing. I liked the fact that there were posters in the bathroom and on the walls which gave students information about mental health and how to seek help. I love school assemblies because they are filled with school spirit and fun games. I greatly appreciate the service opportunities given by Eastside Catholic because it really helps me find volunteer activities that I enjoy and love doing. Sophomore: The teachers are amazing and super skilled in their respective fields. However, there are a few rules that allow discrimination and bullying to occur. The campus is great and very easy to get around. The clubs and sports are super interesting and help you feel like a part of your community. The school’s spirit is a little low but that’s mainly because of COVID regulations and the ban of assemblies. Overall, I really enjoy going to Woodinville High School and highly recommend it!... Middle School Student: Words cannot describe how much I loved this school. Having gone to 3 other elementary schools (the last one definitely not being my favorite), it was a big relief for me having attended this school in my last year of elementary. I can definitely see why they're rated the best public elementary school in Washington...they really live up to their fame. There's a lot of good diversity, the students are super nice and friendly, the teachers are so helpful, and the staff is just so kind. Only thing I'd change would be the separation of Quest (Gifted) and GenEd (general education.) Having been a Quest student myself, I can definitely tell you that while socializing, Questies hang out with mostly other Questies and vice versa. In fact, I don't think I had even one GenEd friend the whole school year. Overall this is such an amazing school. I definitely recommend it, and it's tied for my favorite elementary school I went to (which is surprising since I went to top-rated schools a lot.)... Read 1 review

Middle School Student: Renaissance is a phenomenal school, and the connections I made will stay with me for the rest of my life. Classes are small, 32 kids a grade, so kids make friends very easily and get to know everyone in the school. The teachers are warm and inviting, helping out students that are having trouble in classes, and joking around with students. The art program is amazing, with students doing mosaics, water color, pastels, and learning about the color wheel and drawing techniques. The performing arts program is also great, with the first semester being focused on dance, and the second on acting. RSAR is the best school I've been to, and I've met my best friends there.... Alum: Evergreen Middle School, in my experience, was a pretty amazing school. During my three years at Evergreen, I participated in the Quest program along with numerous sports and clubs such as leadership. The teachers were amazingly nice, when I asked for recommendations or outside help, they were willing to schedule in-person meetings outside of school, or even phone calls. The sports were really inclusive, because while I cannot run whatsoever, they still made me feel like a part of the team. The clubs are fun, interactive and educational. Math club included many competitions, (which we did fantastically at), multicultural club a diverse blend of insight into different cultures and ASB gave me a genuine desire to help increase school spirit.... Senior: Inglemoor is one of the only public high schools in Washington offering the International Baccalaureate program. In addition, it has other great academic and career-readiness resources such as AP, WANIC, and technical electives. I consider the school environment to be academically rigorous, and it's highly likely to meet many self-motivated and talented students there. The yearbook and newspaper staff often win awards on their graphic design and journalism respectively. Additionally, the arts and music programs, while generally underfunded, felt quite extensive there. There's even a darkroom accessible in the photography classroom. Furthermore, there's lots of help available through student-led study groups, teacher meetings, site resources, calculator and technology loans, etc. One just has to be willing to put the work in when looking for it.... Middle School Student: This school is literally the best! it has great food, the teachers are the best, the students are great to each other(barely any bulling), and the academics altogether are great! The only thing that I would change would be to add more time to get to classes, currently, you would have 5 minutes to get to class but I would add between 5 and 2 more minutes.
