Freshman: Slaughter Community Charter School is an excellent, college-prep school! Although it is predominantly white, I still believe there is a good amount of diversity. It is a small community, which feels like family, with rare discrimination. I can personally say I have enjoyed my 3+ years here! Junior: I started going to the school in my 9th grade year because my family moved. I didnt know what it would be like because i had never really changed schools. The students there are friendly and welcoming you will soon find a best friend even if you're and introvert like me. Most of the teachers are nice as long as you dont purposely try and annoy them. The only really "bad" part i guess that could use immediate attention is that the gym doesnt have any air conditioning, but other than that the gym class is pretty fun, but i mainly practice my sports during gym class. Overall i think the experience is good for me and anyone who doesnt talk to anyone much because the people there help you get out of your comfort zone. The teachers are fun and know what they are doing because most have been teaching for many years. I like it there and i am actually kinda happy we moved.... Read 14 reviews

Senior: East feliciana high school have taught me lots of new things and prepares me to face all the challenges of life. I have lots of friends and all my teachers love me. I love my school and enjoy going there every day to meet my friends and learn new things. Our teachers not only teach us but also prepare us for our future. All the teachers at my school are very dedicated and punctual. They always teach us discipline and ask us to come to school on time. Our school could use a auditorium where all school events and competitions take place. I am proud to be a student at this school, and I will always miss my school after leaving it....
