Senior: I have been a student at BASIS since fifth grade. Academically, BASIS is an amazing choice. The curriculum challenges students to do their best in every learning scenario. However, this same academic rigor causes a great amount of stress for many, pushing a large number of students to leave yearly. BASIS has very few sports programs and little recognition for any athletes due to its academic prioritization for colleges. BASIS' stress of self reliance allows for students to excel following graduation from high school. Senior: I love that Tri-City offers something for everyone. Because it’s a small school, students have the opportunity to be in multiple organizations at once. The teachers notice when students are having trouble or need to be pushed more, and they take the time to reach out to them. Senior: The Prescott Valley Arizona Agribusiness & Equine Center (AAEC) is an very great school. The teachers have just the right balance of serious and fun in the classrooms. The students are all friendly and kind towards one another. Though they don’t offer regular sports, they do offer teams such as archery, mountain bike racing, and much more. The best quality of this school is it’s dual enrollment with Yavapai College. It is completely free for the student, so long as they pass their classes and follow guidelines. Alum: I went to Trinity for all four years of high school. It's a Classical learning school, so we had extra classes called Logic and Rhetoric that helped our critical thinking skills as well as how to form a good argument. Its a private school, so there is a tuition, but with how large its been growing recently, tuition has been going down and if its still not affordable there are ways to get "sponsors" or even scholarships for your child that will help pay for a certain amount of time or pay a certain amount of money. The staff is great, they are all knowledgeable in their fields that they teach and the students grow close to the teachers since the teachers have a want to get to know students and help them.... Senior: I really enjoy Bradshaw! The school is very diverse and the teachers are awesome! All the teachers at BMHS will do everything to help you succeed and strive to do better in your future. The classes are great as well and offer a lot of AP courses including dual enrollment. They have some of the best assemblies and school dances. My freshman year was really scary at first but the high school has a club called LINK and they upper class men that help all incoming freshman with anything they need. I joined the club myself and helped out so many students; it made me feel happy knowing they were gonna have a great year. In addition, they some amazing sports and coaches. I played soccer 3 years at the high school and every year was amazing and so much fun. Each year i met so many people from different schools and new girls to kick the ball around with. Senior: At Chino Valley High School there’s a lot of great ways to interact with your peers. There’s sporting events, clubs, and school activities. The staff and administration also push their students to thrive to be at their absolute best. I would recommend CVHS to any student that has a strong suit in academics because we really care about education. Teachers hold before, after, and Friday tutoring for anyone even if they do not teach that student themselves. Our sports teams create huge bonds with each other and it’s like having a second family.
