Parent: I am the parent of a very active prek boy who loves to be outside, Oak Farm was the perfect fit for us! He can explore the woods and is encouraged to get dirty and learn by experience. The ability for him to work in different environments and not be seated at a desk all day is wonderful! The teachers/staff at Oak Farm all are welcoming and truly care for the students and families! The after school clubs are fantastic, our son can has enjoyed soccer shots right at school, which as busy parents is great! Senior: Going to this school has honestly been a life-changing experience for me. They stayed true to their word when they said it would be a lot of work, but it allowed me to experience learning at a college level early, further preparing me for college life way more than other high schools could. And as an incoming senior, I am on my way to obtaining my associates degree in the spring of 2023! With how small the school is, the support system is phenomenal as well. But along with the early college experience, with this school being a “magnet school” I didn’t know at least 80% of the people in my class my freshman year. This gave me a chance to truly find my identity, something that I believe that a typical high school couldn’t have done. I definitely made the right decision to go to this school.... Junior: I loved the faculty and staff at this school! The teachers are super nice and very helpful whenever I’m struggling. I feel like I’m at home when I’m at this school and I’m able to make a lot of friends easily. I also love how I’m able to be present in chapel once a week so I can glorify God in all that I do. However, one thing that I would like to change about this school is the uniform. We aren’t allowed to wear our letter jackets in school at all, even in the winter. And we aren’t allowed to wear any Concordia related sweatshirts either. It makes it a bit difficult to learn when I don’t have a warm sweater to be in when it’s the winter time.... Read 204 reviews

Alum: Bruin culture is real! The school did a really good job on wanting students to feel included and a part of the school with various school wide activities/events. The staff are dedicated to making sure students will pass their classes and leave the school knowing they’re capable of doing whatever they desire. Guidance staff are full of wonderful people who truly care about each and every student they come in contact with! Senior teachers especially are the ones to push students to graduate. Junior: I realized when I started high school just how great of a school St. John's was. While I there, I did not like it very much and took for granted my experience there.
