Freshman: This school is excellent! I am currently a freshman and i have never felt more at home. There is however a concern that there are not in enough AP courses. I do not find this a problem because if you take advantage of the ones given to you colleges will acknowledge that. Parent: We sent our pre-K child to this school, with intentions of leave him there for a few years until we bought a house in which we would switch him to that school district. Regardless of where we move we’ll absolutely be leaving him at ISI. His teacher was absolutely amazing in every way, The staff is always friendly and can answer/resolve any questions/issues you may have, all staff members genuinely care about the kids. Additionally The language immersion is integrated into the curriculums so well, it far exceeded my expectations. The lesson plans, daily activities, events, and Programs all appear thought out and well planned. I genuinely love having my kiddo at the school, because I know he’s in good hands. Junior: Carmel High School is a really large school, with a large student population. Its size provides a unique experience for students. Attending at CHS, you are unlikely to get to know even half of your peers. On the other hand, a large population comes with many staff, meaning you have a better chance at getting good teachers, which CHS has plenty of. Additionally, when you are a freshman, you are given your own area of the building to adjust from middle school to high school. Junior: The school has been nothing but extraordinary. It is one which gives a vast span academic rigor and the 11:1 student-faculty ratio gives an amazing opportunity for one-on-one student teacher time. The teachers and staffing do everything with student success in mind. Not only this, but there are many times throughout the day built in for students to meet with teachers in subject offices, complete homework or socialize. The school does an amazing job of providing a great balance between work and fun. With students constantly attending sporting events, club meetings and other school led activities, the different grade levels are able to interact. Also, it is not super religious. Students can participate in relies events at their choice. The school offers amazing scholarship opportunities and highly ranked athletic teams (2021-22 W. Volleyball, M. Soccer, M. Senior: Community really is the main focus of University High School, and this is what I have most appreciated in my time there. The faculty and staff are all extremely kind, and truly care about the wellbeing of every student. The education I have received there has also been wonderful. There are so many different class options, that no matter what your interest is, there is a class for you. I was most excited about the English and art options, but I have also discovered science and social studies classes that I really enjoyed. Overall, UHS was definitely the right high school for me.... Sophomore: My overall experience at Creekside was really good, minus a few details. First of all, there were some teachers that didn't seem to put in as much effort as others. While most teachers were quite amazing there were definitely a hand full that were not. Middle school student: Clay Middle School was hands down the best middle school experience I could have ever asked for. From the moment I walked through those doors, I knew I was in for something special. First off, the teachers at Clay Middle School are absolute rockstars. They were not only incredibly knowledgeable in their subjects but also genuinely cared about each and every one of their students. They were always there to lend a helping hand or offer guidance whenever we needed it. Trust me, having supportive teachers makes a world of difference. What really stood out to me was the inclusive and accepting environment at Clay Middle School. It didn't matter who you were or where you came from, everyone was welcomed with open arms. I made some lifelong friends there and we still keep in touch even after all these years. All in all, my experience at Clay Middle School was absolutely phenomenal. Senior: I’ve really loved my experience at Westfield. Before coming to Westfield, I went to a small district school that didn’t have many extracurricular that intrested me nor did I fit in that the school. When I came to Westfield High School, I got to take all sorts of classes, meet people with different backgrounds, interests, etc. and felt included in what I did, such as I took part in Westfield’s high school Dance Marathon for Riley Children’s hospital and feel welcomed at Westfield High School’s Gay Straight Alliance club. Coming to Westfield improved my social skills and my academic skills; I don’t think I would have gotten into college and be ready for college without going to Westfield, and I’m so thankful for that!... Senior: I have been blessed with the honor of attending Fishers High School, all my teachers have been caring, kind, and supportive to me as I've progressed throughout my high school career. I am proud to call myself a Fishers High School Tiger and I will always be apart of it. From the fun programs, assemblies, dances, awards and events - I have felt a sense of belonging from the moment I stepped foot into this school! I love the band (and marching band) and French program here. They take mental health serious here, they are always open to hearing about your day and mental health. Parent: My daughter currently attends Riverside and is in 7th grade. I am constantly surprised and impressed by the the coursework and the enthusiasm given by her teachers; extracurricular activities included as well. It is also a beautiful campus surrounded by woods. Parent: Teachers are amazing. We choose public over private schools for our 2 daughters because of the Carmel Elementary School teachers. Our girls love them and the teachers love our girls. The education is high quality with personal touches. Our experience with the other students, parents, and extracurriculars have been positive. Our kids are safe, happy, and thriving.
