Senior: I loved how welcoming my school was when I first joined as a Junior. The Girl's School at The Academy has a strong sense of community that was easy to see, even on my first day there. I've also been able to try so many different things here with their wonderful performing arts and sports departments. Junior: I have been at School Lane Charter School since I was in 2nd grade and I am not a junior in high school. I commend School Lane for always seeking ways to better the experience of students. You can see that each year is a year to reflect on the past which I like. The high school IB Campus is very small so this gives teachers the ability to get to know their students and understand what the best environment will be to help them succeed academically. The academic portion is very rigorous and this is taught school wide. REFLECTING is a big thing at school lane which is great because how are you gonna grow without reflection? I wish that the voices of students were heard more though. I wish that more opportunities were given to students to grow socially. I feel that many students feel that their voices aren't heard. Alum: I attended Ryan for my senior year only and wished the entire time I came my freshman year so I could get the full experience. The school itself holds so much character and all the administration do their best to make the students feel accepted and happy. I say every school has room to improve and among renovating the locker rooms and adding a track to the back (which are in the process of being done!) the biggest problem I had was the condition the bathrooms went through with many crazy students, but other than that Id say the school is a 10/10! Alum: My experience at Archbishop Wood was overall a great experience. The culture at the school is my favorite part of the school. There is more economic diversity at this school than most of the other PCL schools in the area, and it contributes to a less stuck-up culture, in comparison to La Salle and Prep. There is a sense of grit within the student body and I love it, the school definitely acts on this competitiveness through their athletics. I was a member of the Football Team and over 10 extracurriculars at the school. If you seek it out, there is something for you at this school, trust me. The new counseling department and the curriculum prepared me for college, I am enrolled at a nationally-ranked Liberal Arts College and I have to thank Wood part of my success. You don't realize till you leave how much you will miss a place, and I truly feel this with Wood. Parent: Let me just state that my children absolutely love attending MaST II Community Charter School Tacony. The teachers are excellent, although I'd love to see more diversity in regards to the staff. The curriculum is great with lots of advanced learning material for each grade level. They have plenty of after school programs to assist children who may need more attention in certain areas like Math and/or Reading. The extra curriculum activities are great and keeps children active and engaged. The overall environment is wonderful and the staff is open and communicates very well with parents. One of my only complaints is that they need a better lunch menu. My children are not that picky but always come home complaining that the food was either nasty, bland or that they simply did not want it. So, I'm hoping that they work on adding more delicious and healthy options for children to choose from. Otherwise, I'll continue packing their lunch. :-)... Read 5 reviews

Senior: This is a charter school so I was lucky to have won the lottery for Kindergarten. I went K-12. The only reason I didn't rate it Excellent is because out of 4 years of High School students weren't in the building for over 1/3 of that time. Of course that was due to the pandemic which I realize wasn't a good circumstance for anyone. I didn't appreciate school until I wasn't allowed to be there anymore. PACHS tried their best with virtual learning to make it normal but it wasn't. Otherwise the time I spent in the building was worthwhile. Since they don't make any differentiation on here I have to also add the PACS grade school was awesome! I loved it there and it was an excellent school. I believe I got a good education overall. Senior: My time at Father Judge has been spectacular to say the least. Every year, they innovate their programs and upgrade their facilities allowing students to have the resources they need to learn and to have fun. Additionally, FJ offers classes with enough challenge to prepare students for college, which I can attest to because I do a program in which I take one college course at a college campus per two semesters.
