Parent: There are so many aspects of Bullis that we love and it is hard to fit them all in one review! We have 3 children at the school who are very different learners, different personalities and different interests. Yet each is thriving at Bullis and the teachers meet each of their needs. We love that school is joyful and fun. Our kids WANT to go to school and have fun learning. They get a great balance of academics, arts, athletics, STEM, etc. It is a nice community of parents and friends who watch out for each other and help each other. Senior: I love this school, part asynchronous work and some live classes. All live classes are recorded if you can not attend live. There is reading and hand on options. The teachers are great, will do 1 on 1s if you would like. Teachers communicate through text, email, and call. There are still social clubs and get togethers so you can make friends.... Junior: I absolutely love how Milwaukee Lutheran High School gives many opportunities to students to prepare for the future, whether if we want to go to college or not. We have academies that we can join like art, honors (college prep), business, trade, urban ed. and more! We also have a bunch of electives that most schools do not have like a welding/wood workshop class. Also, there are no boring classes. After the required classes taken as freshmen and sophmore, upperclassmen can explore different classes in each department. Some of my favorites are sociology, contemporary issues, anatomy, and oral communications. I will never forget how Milwaukee Lutheran High School is home. Everybody there is one big family. All the teachers and staff are resourceful and make me feel comfortable and safe. And all the students are so loyal and kind. During our pep rallies or field days, we are all one big family gathered for fun. Milwaukee Lutheran is definitely a welcoming school.... Read 104 reviews
