Black River Falls High School
- Black River Falls School District, WI
Junior: The number one thing I like about BRFHS is the amount of American Indians that are enrolled here. This year there is about 23.5% American Indians enrolled. I also like as an American Indian student, or "Ho-Chunk" student that there is a Ho-Chunk language course provided. Me being Ho-Chunk and all, that makes me proud that we are given this oppurtunity here at BRFHS. I like that I van be offered to learn my language at school, because my ancestors were not given that opportunity, not even my older siblings. So that makes me thankful.

Senior: Wayland is a great experience for all students! The student body is less than 200 students and about half of the students are international. Overall, there are students from 32 different countries, which makes this school very diverse compared to all the public schools and many other boarding schools in the nation.
The Academy becomes strict when it comes to academics; They treat the school as if it were a college. The average class size is 14 students per class. With the class size being very small, there is more 1 on 1 times with the teacher during or outside of class.
Although athletics might not be the best, it is good for students to be able to get lots of playing time on the field or court, even though they are not a star player. There are also many clubs and other activities outside of athletics.
Overall, I think Wayland is a great school and I definitely recommend it!
