Parent: We have had an amazing experience at Burgundy! Our daughter loves school and we find it to be a great balance of both independence and structure to help her flourish. The teachers are wonderful and focus on the whole child with education that includes academic, emotional and social development. It is a strong community that is supportive of students and families. We love how the curriculum ties into areas of interest for the children and helps to build lifelong love of learning and appreciation for the world around them. They are able to enjoy a lot of time learning in nature on their beautiful campus. We can't imagine being anywhere else for the K-8 experience.... Read 11 reviews

Parent: The curriculum is strong, with students working above grade level in many subjects. Teachers set high expectations and then help each child achieve those goals in a warm and nurturing environment. Each day students’ folders are filled with the work that they have completed so that parents can be informed of their child’s progress. Any obstacles are handled at early stages and the child is treated with the utmost respect every step of the way. The emphasis on STEAM is helping to prepare students for a successful future. Every member of the staff knows each kid--not only their names, but their individual personalities. Additional benefits of ACE include smaller class sizes, character development, a uniform that minimizes drama in the mornings, responsive staff, and an exceptional facility. Parent: Sending our sons to Salesianum School was the best decision we ever made. I have three sons with very different interests. My boys have participated in band, theatre, Science Olympiad, basketball, soccer, baseball, tailgate club, ping pong club, guitar club and others. Academically I could not ask for more. My oldest two sons were both accepted into many colleges with scholarships and are currently in the Honors Program at UD. Sallies prepared them with the study and organizational skills to be independent and successful in college and later in life. The best part about Sallies is the brotherhood. My sons have each met "their people" and have made life long friends. My two sons in college still hang out with their Sallies friends on breaks. Sallies teaches the students about hard work and dedication as well as humility and compassion for others. Sallies develops the students to be well rounded respectful adults.
