Belmond-Klemme Community Junior/Senior High School
#105 Best Public High Schools in Iowa
- Belmond-Klemme Community School District, IA
Senior: It is a great school. There are many school activities to be apart of. I personally had a great experience going here my whole life. I liked it because it is a very casual school and I got myself involved more in the school activities. There is lots of freedom for the students and it is not too strict. Overall, if you do the right things and don't bring trouble on yourself, you will have a great experience at this school.

Clarion-Goldfield-Dows High School
#142 Best Public High Schools in Iowa

Sophomore: I moved to Clarion not too long ago and have loved the school ever since. The teachers are welcoming and very caring. They always find different ways of teaching material and make it so the student actually take something away from it. The only thing I would change is having more diversity in food and activities. Having some more diversity in this school will positively impact the school as a whole.

West Hancock High School
#150 Best Public High Schools in Iowa
- West Hancock Community School District, IA
Alum: I enjoyed the athletics and how everyone was involved in the athletics because of the small school. We always had great community involvement at the games, no matter what sport it was. I thought the teachers did a great job of teaching us and giving us the best learning environment that was possible. I feel like we had very good academics for high school, but they didn't always do a great job of making sure we were prepared for college. That has more to do with it being a small school and not having the college feel because our classes were so small, and we couldn't always take the college level classes that we needed. I always felt safe in the school system, and I never had to worry about being scared to go to school.
