Junior: Bishop Ludden is a great school. Since it is a small school it is amazing for making many friends. There is a good balance because older kids can be friends with younger kids and they can learn from each other. Bishop Ludden is one of the few schools that offer the IB program. I feel these classes are essential for preparing me for college. Senior: I have been in the Baldwinsville schools since Kindergarten… Coming to Baker High with the group I grew up with was the absolute best ! I got to play football with my best friends and under the absolute best coaching staff. The school community , The BEES! Parent: Strong academic school. Safe environment physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Students develop strong communication skills and learn to think critically from a biblical worldview. The school has been around for 50 years and continues to get better every year. Their mission, vision, and student outcomes are powerful and worth checking out on their website. Parent: I have at various times helped out at Living Word Academy over the years from time to time. My 2 daughters have gone through all of their schooling there up to the present grade levels. I love this school! I thank God that my children can be taught by Holy-Spirit filled teachers that they know even outside of school. I am thankful that emphasis is put on the Bible and chapel just as much as a rigorous academic schedule to prepare them for college. Parent: I am a parent of two children that attend BCA. I am also a teacher who has taught in public schools throughout the state. I was highly skeptical when touring private schools because I had heard so many rumors about private schools not teaching to high standards. While I did witness exactly that as we toured many other schools in our surrounding area, God kept drawing me back to BCA. After searching, my husband and I decided BCA was the right fit for our family. Wow! What a blessing it has been! I cannot say enough good things about BCA! The teachers go above and beyond to help each student be successful. The other parents work together to help support students, teachers and the school. And they offer many family events and student activities that are offered. My children continue to grow in their learning about God. Senior: I live in Onondaga county and am currently a Senior at BOCES Innovation Tech. Prior to coming to this school, I had gone to quite a few (due to moving a numerous amount of times). However, NONE of them have come even remotely close to the pride that I feel when I talk about my school now. Parent: The smaller class sizes are ideal for my kids. They need more one on one time with the teachers. The staff is very flexible as far as working with parents. Most parents are either working or staying home with little ones. I had the cell numbers of the teachers they've had. They respond quickly.
