Jackson Hole Community School
- Private School
- Jackson, WY
High School Senior: The Community School offers a challenging workload that will help you learn time management. The are not many cliques and the school really is a big community. It took me a long time to figure out how to balance sports and my social life with school.

Journeys School of Teton Science Schools
- Private School
- Jackson, WY
- PK, K-12
Alum: I was one of the first students in the Journeys School and I found it to be a great place to learn. It challenged me, forced me to think critically, and gave me opportunities I wouldn't have been able to find in any another school. Because of the high teacher to student ratio, I was able to receive a personalized education that helped me to address some of the areas I was weaker in, while encouraging my interests. In addition, Journeys School helped me to make life long friends in both the faculty and students.
I also give Journeys School a lot of credit with my success in both undergrad, and graduate school. I would highly recommend this school to anyone in the area.

Big Horn High School
1 Best Public High Schools in Wyoming
- Sheridan County School District No. 1, WY
High School Senior: The small size makes it a very personable and familiar environment. All of the faculty know each student's name and individual abilities. This is a great help if you need extra help, as I said before, the teachers will not let you fail! This school has some of the highest academic and athletic standards in the state, and is known for success. Although our class selection is not wide, the district covers all costs for students to take classes from the local college. You can earn free college credit!

Henry A. Coffeen Elementary School

- Sheridan County School District No. 2, WY
Parent: Overall out is a very good school. We are in our 4th year at this school and there have been so many faculty changes it is hard to keep track of as a parent. Consistency is needed so we will see how this year progresses with the new administration in place.

Junior: The school is amazing. The people, both students and faculty are extravagant. However, the infrastructure can be worked upon and the quality of education as well!

Jackson Hole High School

Senior: All in all the teachers are good and the students are pretty great. The admin have little regard for the students opinions at times. Drug dogs come to campus at least once a month sometimes more. Sucks they make you take 7 classes each semester for 4 years, because they require 25 credits to graduate.

Burlington High School
3 Best Public High Schools in Wyoming
- Big Horn County School District No. 1, WY
Senior: In my high school, I was surrounded by many relatives. Burlington is a small farming community so many residents there share the same or at least similar roots. I was also surrounded by many people who shared the same beliefs as me. The reason I only rate it a 4 out of 5 is due to its small population. In result of small numbers, the opportunities to take advanced classes were minimal.

Shoshoni High School
4 Best Public High Schools in Wyoming
- Fremont County School District No. 24, WY
Junior: Shoshoni High School is working towards excellency as the staff, both new and current and soon to retire, develop new opportunities for their students including additional dual-credit courses, new club funding, and a new class providing students with the chance to attend a variety of career, college, and health fairs which is expected to be put into effect next year. My personal experience with the high school has been amazing as the staff is very willing to work with and provide the best for it's students. Although we lack cultural diversity, AP classes, and opportunities for advanced learners, it is a work in progress that I know the board and new principle are determined to make better.
