Senior: Overall, a good school. I moved to EGHS from the Warwick Public School System and, if you live in RI, you know just how huge of an improvement EG is over Warwick.
The academics at EGHS are nothing to sneeze at. They have no shortage of AP and Honors level classes, and I could take almost every AP course I wanted to. However, while EGHS excels at academics, it's severely lacking in most other categories. For example, and most notably, the facilities. The facilities and the physical school building are literally falling apart. During any prolonged rain, the ceiling leaks water into the hallways and, instead of fixing the problem, the school opts to put trashcans under the leaks to collect the water. The school also recently splurged a new security system (Even though security has never been an issue during my last 4 years attending the school) instead of putting the money used for this project to where it's actually needed: The school building itself and the facilities....
