Sophomore: The Bernardino Cordero Bernard school, is a school for students with high average. Part of the mission of the school is to prepare the student for his university life. Bernardino Cordero Bernard is specialized with workshops (or rather as concentrations) where the student has the privilege of choosing his workshop of preference. When I was studying in the school, I was in the architectural "workshop", there i made architectural hand-drawn and computer plans. The school is very good in the academic way, also the resources and others informations and values that the school gives. As all the schools have their club, in the bernardino ordero bernard school, there is a butterfly club, not only they take care of the butterfly, they also work with compost , and take care of the plants. Senior: I loved that Cupeyville School helped me gain consciousness over various situations that occurred in the world. The faculty has always been friendly and attentive to detail in creating a safe and welcoming environment. Since the school does not have a religion, I got the chance to be surrounded by various cultures besides my own. Also, I am bilingual in Spanish and English, and have a basic understanding of French. Alum: A very good school, teachers care about the students well being and make them achieve their goals. The cafeteria serves a wide range of very nutritional food and has a big space so everyone is welcome to stay. This school is a vocational and there are different programs in which you can enroll. I chose Animal Health and I learned about the veterinary world, at the last year of your studies you had to do an internship with a real veterinary. Sophomore: TASIS Dorado is a prestigious institution which I have attended since the age of 3. It has taught me many things, like English, Spanish, Math, and all of those subjects but more importantly it has taught me fundamental values which I will use throughout the rest of my life. The staff and faculty have been there for every moment and are heavily engaged and ready to provide any help for any student who needs it. The counsler who is absolutely wonderful has been there throughout my hardest times and has been of the most understanding. This school not only provides the absolute best people to make sure you are well taken care of but everyone in this school can feel accepted for who they are. TASIS has a lot of options for clubs, extracurriculars, and more. The school offers 4 languages two of which are mandatory and has sent students on various trips around the world to engage in different cultures and experiences. Niche User: I’ve come from the best university of my state: Universidad de Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras to one of the top graduate schools of USA and the world: Illinois School of Architecture. Nevertheless I started at a public school, in a remote town, surrounded by mountains and coffee plantations. My school wasn’t the safest or most popular but it was definitely striving for highly prepared students. The administration were constantly supporting our community and teachers with activities and clubs in order to prepare us for both our academic and personal lives. Resources and facilities were absent, although that never discouraged us. I remained an active member of our advanced class, math competitions, piano and painting lesson while, honestly, ignoring sports. My plan for college was clear: getting into architecture and design school; no matter the location or the chances. I got in. Junior: What I like about the Escuela República de Costa Rica High School is that I can be able to grow in knowledge about healthcare since I study in the pharmacy assistant with biotechnology workshop, and I can learn more about patient care and pharmacy. Also I got involved with the HOSA organization and got to travel to the U.S for an international competition,as well as opportunities to get involved with the school, extended academic teaching, HOSA local board leadership and participate in many amazing opportunities provided by the school. Alum: As an alumni, my high school experience was the best. At the Vocacional Ana Delia Flores Santana I met my best friends, the bond we created and shared is a bond I've never imagined to have with friends. There I became a SkillsUSA State Officer where I created experiences that will help guide me now as a College Freshman. Middle School Student: I graduated from this school in June 2nd 2022, my overall experience In this school was good, I’ve been in it since pre-k and well I graduated with high honors!! The teachers have all been such sweethearts, although something that I would’ve appreciated was more club/activities all there is, is band (music), art class, softball, soccer, volleyball,basketball, baseball, and by season cross country!! Something’s that I would’ve loved definitely are, cheerleading, dance, lacrosse and more volleyball season!! I got on the volleyball team but never once did we practice!! Until my last year and when I went to sign up the team was full, we got no warnings of signing up which I was totally taken aback but it’s ok!! I’ll make up for it in high school... Read 1 review
