Parent: We were considering a few other Atlanta area private schools few years ago and upon research and talking to experienced parents/faculty, we had chosen Westminster over others at the time. This is our 6th year at Westminster and we have been very pleased with our decision! The school thoroughly plans the curriculum for each grade level and continues to provide a challenging yet very supportive and caring environment for students. My child has really thrived at Westminster under its rigorous program, their teaching philosophy, unlimited resources, wide choices of extra-curricular activities and their athletic program! It's truly school that pushes a student to do their very best in not just academics and sports but also in the community to make a difference and be a well-rounded individual! No doubt the school is highly selective in student body and faculty; and they take the admission process seriously. Parent: Pace has been an amazing choice for my daughter's high school. Parent: We love Woodward Academy. Woodward is a diverse community of learners that truly focuses on excellence, character, and opportunity. Parent: I’ve been an AGS parent for about 5 years, with my oldest daughter starting in 6th grade (now entering 10th) and my youngest daughter coming in one year later for 6th grade (entering 9th). This is a wonderful community for both my girls and me. Academically, they have excelled, and I think that’s because most teachers work quite hard to make concepts relatable and non-formulaic, but also because they make themselves available to students to come for targeted assistance. The school and grade classes are quite small, which I believe aids in the school’s ability to meet each girl’s needs. There is also a warm sense of community at AGS! From parent gatherings to annual school events to cheering on the girls who play sports, there’s always a way to connect with other families and support the school and students. Parent: Overall, MIS has been a phenomenal school for our child. She has been allowed to grow and blossom in ways that no other school allowed for as they recognize her strengths and gifts and know how to foster and encourage them. The small size of classes allows her to develop trusting relationships with her teachers and allows the teachers to get to know each student so that they may individualize and differentiate the curriculum for each student - amazing! The staff goes out of their way to build relationships with the parents; they are always available for meetings and parent education opportunities. We are so delighted that we have found MIS and are continually impressed with their emphasis on the global world, student talents and giftedness, and the problem solving curriculum. Other: Holy Spirit Prep is an absolute GOAT (greatest of all time). The community is amazing, the faculty is VERY high quality, and the students encounter an educational experience that is so unique and formative. The education is classical which inspires the children to question, reason, and marvel at what they are learning. The learning and teaching model is very different than most schools today, and I would argue much superior! The faith at the school is solid and flourishing. Parent: If I could give Academe 10 stars, I would!! Our daughter transferred from a bigger public school and immediately began appreciating the smaller class sizes. Our daughter was stretched beyond the educational norm and pushed outside of her comfort zone. Senior: My time at Midtown High School has been quite a ride! I've had some ups and downs, but overall, it's been an unforgettable experience. The best part of my time at Midtown High has definitely been the friendships I've made. I've met some awesome people who have become like family to me. From the friends I hang out with at lunch to my lacrosse teammates, I've built some incredible relationships. On the flip side, the workload is a challenge. Balancing homework, extracurriculars, and a social life can be tough, and it feels like I never have enough time to relax and recharge. What I'd like to see change at Midtown High is more support for students' mental health. The pressure to excel academically and participate in extracurriculars can be overwhelming. Junior: Honestly I do get tired of Drew at times since they isn’t many new students coming into the school. But I love my friends that I do have. I came to drew in 4th grade. I did make friends most of my friend group in 4th grade were also pretty much new students. Most of those friends left to go to private schools or elsewhere. They friend group that I have a great it’s just funny because it’s not like the friend group that I’m in currently we were not friends before we just weren’t as close as we are now. We’ve been friends for almost 7 years now. Most of my teachers are nice and helpful. Senior: I am a current student at Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School, and I am pleased to say that attending the school is the best decision I have ever made. The staff is very friendly and the community is very welcoming. The school is very clean as well. The teachers here are very organized and seem excited to come in and teach their students. Personally I have seen myself grow. This school has prepared me for the real world. Cristo rey also makes sure that the students have fun. There is a variety of extra curricular activities. One of them being robotics club which has its own 3D printer! The most unique part of the school is the corporate work study program.
