Senior: I have gone to Rochester High School since I was in kindergarten. My four older sisters before me also all went here along with my grandpa and dad. This school has prepared me for my future in college academically. They offer many college-level classes directly through the school and where students go to Lincoln Land Community College and take classes. The teachers are great at getting students excited about classes and learning. The athletics all around are good. This school is very competitive and pushes to be the best while keeping in mind the students and their academics. The fine arts program is also fantastic with a great choir, band, madrigals, and spring musical. Senior: I overall feel Springfield High was a very supportive and inclusive community. The experiences themselves are enjoyable and fun, but you actually have to involve yourself to enjoy them. Join a sport! A club! Go to football games! I've been on the dance team which has given me not only friends beyond my class but an insight into my teammates experiences as well. I've helped student council decorate for Homecoming, etc etc. Participating in these activitives have opened me out of my introverted shell and given me more leadership qualities. Afterall, I am now dance team captain and Vice President of our SHS National Honor Society. Academics wise, I'm happy with the courses we have access to. Majority of my AP teachers give us plenty of study material and are engaged in our learning rather than just playing videos in class. Senior: Going to a private catholic school when you're raised in the public school system is a drastic change, but the teachers and resources here were very amazing! me and many other people of color students brought change to a school that wasn't used to diversity. i had a great experience because this gave me the opportunity to voice my opinion and speak up for myself. the administration here are very helpful and encouraging, other teachers won't care about your personal problems, but instead these teachers will reach out to you when they notice you aren't doing so good, that is why i love Sacred heart griffin.... Senior: Overall, my experience with Glenwood High School has been enjoyable and I am very grateful for the opportunities I have here. In 5th grade, I moved from a significantly smaller school to the Ball Chatham School District and I am forever thankful I did. There are so many clubs, activities, sports, etc. for everyone to join or you can make one yourself if you desire. I was able to make my closest friends through the various extracurriculars I did as well. The school and Chatham community are very involved with each other, which provides a more comforting experience in general. And that doesn't include the immense school spirit you feel all around, especially during football season. Additionally, I value academics and there is a variety of classes to take that will set you on the right path for after high school. Alum: I love Lutheran and the community that surrounds it, I always felt like I had a home. Through sports, classrooms, and its gatherings, I always felt like there was something special about the school. With the shutting down of the original location due to mine subsidence, the school came together in ways I have never seen it come together before. They supported people in ways that they had never supported people. We lost a lot of loved teachers, because of life, paths, and career paths, but all in all, it’s still feel complete and whole. As an athlete at the school, I always felt like I had the support of people around me.
