Alum: Experiencing Savannah Arts Academy was a dream come true. I had experienced most my schooling in Seattle before that so coming to Georgia was a major culture shock. A lot of schools in Savannah weren’t heavily supported back then, especially the liberal arts within schools. To have a school dedicated to what I’ve wanted to do since a little girl was amazing and unforgettable. I was taught appreciation for the resources we had and how to make the best out of those resources. From “Junk to Funk” fashion shows to “Hair Spray” Musical Theatre, it has fully shaped me to continue to follow my dreams! Parent: St. Andrew's has been a consistently positive experience for our family. Our daughter has grown in the following areas: academics, social life, athletics, arts, and community service. The school sticks to their mission, and lives up to what they advertise. St. Andrew's has never stopped improving during our 8 years here. Every year sees improvements or additions to the facilities, upgraded technology, responses to the changing world, and innovations in education. Their response to the pandemic was excellent. The teachers bring that added special approach and are eager to support each student in reaching their fullest academic potential. Heritage Academy is not an institution that offers the routine "fluff" as with traditional schools. Heritage Academy embraces each student and their needs. Our daughter attends 7th grade and looks forward to attending school each day. She has open and honest relationship with her teachers. Weekly there is follow-up on progress. Our daughter travels often for tennis tournaments and is not able to be "in seat" for each class/block. Alum: I went to SCPS for the entirety of my pre-college education. Nursery through Senior year of high-school. The teachers and faculty are the best around. It is hard to find people who so obviously care about not only the education your child is receiving but the well- being of your child as a whole. The education in itself is beyond excellent. Right from what is “childhood education,” they are making sure there are no gaps anywhere. I would say they are close to perfecting what each child needs and they make it happen. Going into middle and high-school they are preparing you for college and the future that lies ahead. The main thing with any school is, you get out what you put in. Alum: I transferred to Calvary Day my sophomore year and instantly fell in love. I graduated this year and had an overall amazing experience. The one on one with teachers is unmatched and all the students are extremely involved in extracurriculars. Calvary not only supports athletes, but has a growing fine arts program that will continue to only get better and better. Junior: The RHMS faculty dedicate their time and service to the students who attend there. They focus on the students to provide success and opportunities for them. Not only does the Richmond Hill Middle school have wonderful faculty but they also offer a variety of clubs, sports, trips, hobbies etc. Their main priority is the students in helping them achieve their goals and guiding them in the right path. They are always available and would love to discuss about your future education plans in Highschool and see what is best for the student. Senior: My experience is a very positive one. The facility, staff, teachers and substitutes are genuine, loving and understanding individuals. Not only are they energetic and hearty but they meet students where they are in terms of home life, academic rigor and social life. They understand how support a student inside and outside the classroom and each day greet student diehard a smile. There has never been a bad part to my experience at Bluffton High School. Why? Parent: I have 4 children that attend HHCA for the past 4 years. Their faith, Biblical knowledge, and trust in Jesus have strengthened and grown well beyond our expectations. The options to pursue fine arts and athletics are incredible. I have kids participating in both and the teachers make sure to help them have a healthy balance. Senior: I attended St. Vincent’s Academy for all four years of high school. Compared to other high schools it’s honestly an excellent school. They incredibly prepared me for college and got my into the college of my dreams. The only problem they have is the strictness and controlling nature of the administration. I’m convinced they want the best for us but they are often hypocritical and have their priorities out of whack. I don’t regret going to St. Vincent’s since I made excellent friendships that will last me a lifetime and plenty of confidence to continue my education. Senior: Overall my experience with Richmond Hill High School has been fantastic! The best of the experience was definitely the wide array of courses that were offered at the school, especially the number of APs. However, there were restrictions on when these APs could be taken. For example, AP Biology, widely regarded as a junior or senior-level class, was practically only available freshman year. Middle School Student: I have been going to The STEM Academy for two and a half years. Academics there are quite good. We have every subject advanced and taught in innovative ways. The teachers are quite average. There are some nice teachers while others are a bit more unjust. The clubs there are exquisite! We have Latin, Health, Lego Robotics, Vex Robotics, Makerspace, and more! The school culture is quite good as well. We have something called LYP which is an abreviation for Love Your People. With LYP it rewards us for good behaviors and gives us good punishments for bad ones. Starting with the critiques, STEM has a pretty bad facility. The building is decades old and had questionable tasting water and plumbing. The safety of our school is quite questionable as well. We've had multiple threats come to the school. There have also been multiple fights. Overall as a school I would consider STEM very good. It's the best middle school in Chatham County.... Read 10 reviews

Senior: The summer before my sophomore year, I moved from New Jersey to South Carolina. As scared as I was, May River High School welcomed me with open arms and kind smiles. The teachers are very optimistic and want all of their students to succeed. Also CATE programs like Health Science (which I participated in) made school fun as you got to take classes aligned with your future career. However, with all the good there were some small items about the school I did not particularly enjoy. In New Jersey, my old high school had no dress code, but at May River there is one. The dress code is on the laid back side, but I wish I could express myself better and wear what I enjoy.
