Senior: Though the teachers are incredibly supportive, the climate has been extremely competitive rather than collaborative, and has definitely had a negative effect on my experience. There are events put on that take the academic load off and bring the student body together, but for me, it just hasn’t been enough to cancel out the competitiveness. I feel like I would’ve enjoyed my time here more had there been more efforts to make things less competitive as well as attempts at class bonding (my class is incredibly cliquey and disconnected with people outside of individual friend groups).... Senior: Great School! Small school environment with plenty of great teachers! Christian teaching and a very close group of students. Almost everyone is involved in extracurricular activities and amazing academics. Plenty of AP classes to take advantage of and will be prepared for college if properly taken advantage of. Great college counselors to help you make a college decisions, apply for scholarships, and prepare for interviews. Students are constantly pushed academically, spiritually, and physically. The students truly come first here and get the attention they need! My one complaint is lack of on-campus upper level high school classes as AP and Dual Enrollment classes must often be taken online. Freshman: I attended Redland Elementary School for K-6. I was the third class to graduate after it opened. The teachers and education quality are just something that you don’t find anywhere else. Because students felt heard and loved, Redland has very few disciplinary issues. Redland builds character and the entire school feels like family.
