Alum: I had the best experience at Oak Grove. My parents grew up in a small town so they wanted a small school environment for their children. That led them to Oak Grove. While at Oak Grove I was able to be apart of all the activities that interested me. I was in Volleyball, Basketball, golf, Concert choir, and key club at any other class A school it would be difficult or impossible to be apart of all those things but at Oak Grove it was made possible. My academic experience was great. The small class sizes and close relationship with my teachers allowed me to thrive and grow my skills to be college ready. My college experience was made easier with all the tools I was taught during my time at Oak Grove. The final great thing about Oak Grove is the community it creates with all who go here. My best friends now are two people who I met in middle school and we have now been friends for over 10 years! Senior: Fargo North was an amazing school. Starting high school can be scary as it was for me and many of my friends but the students and staff at Fargo North make it an easy school to get comfortable with. The teachers are always super helpful and understanding and are there for you no matter what, even the students are supportive and make the entire school feel like one big family. North High has many clubs available to join but they don't do a great job of advertising those clubs to the entire school. Senior: Kindred high school is a very small school when being compared to the rest of the country. I like to think of it as the perfect size. The other day, I was sitting there thinking about all the kids I knew and I could almost name every single kid in the school. To me that is amazing. Almost everyone is so close together it is almost like we are all one big family. To me being in a big school would absolutely suck! It would get me in more of a college setting being in a bigger high school but I feel that being in a smaller school allows you to actually ask questions and learn the information. Senior: Davies High School is an overall good high school. They offer many AP and advanced classes as well as classes in many areas such as art, computer science, engineering, and music. The facilities are nice as the school is fairly new, and the food is average for school food. The majority of teachers are very nice and keep the student's best interest in mind. Classes are designed to keep students involved and most teachers are very interactive. The school as a whole advocates for mental health and helping students. The school tries there best to prepare students for college or other higher education by offering ap and specialized classes, requiring certain quizzes to suggest careers that would fit student's personalities, and having counselors that are available to help. The administration isn't bad, however communication between admin, students, and parents is questionable at times. Senior: I’ve been attending Shanley High-school since freshman year, and I can say for certain that I’ve loved my time there. The teachers are all willing to help you when you need it while also trying to keep you on track, and the sports are at a very high level! It is a great place to further progress your prayer life as well as it is a faith based Christian Catholic school. Of course they allow you to attend if you’re not Catholic as well. Alum: I was inspired to become a teacher while attending Central Cass. There were many amazing teachers. I learned a lot from their lectures, but I learned even more from the conversations that I had with them after. School always came easy to me, but had a lot of issues at home. My teachers were very understanding. They supported me by letting me do yesterdays homework in there room before school started. I am glad that my teachers did not lessen my work load because of my home situation, they helped me push forward. I hope to help my future students as much as my teachers have helped me.... Senior: I rated Ben Franklin Middle School as above average, because it is. The teachers there cared not only about the education of their students, but their home lives. I was able to form bonds with teachers, that I had never before. I truly felt like I mattered. We also were taught to be a good person while we were at Ben. We did activities as a school where we would focus on standing up for others who can't and had lectures against destructive decisions. The only thing that I would change about Ben Franklin, is the lack of leadership opportunities for students. While I was a student there, we had a club called Student Leaders, where we were able to organize events and volunteer, but I believe that there should have been more opportunities for students to get involved. If they were able to have more clubs and activities for their students, they would be able to learn responsibility and form connections early on.... Read 4 reviews

Junior: At Park Christian School you are not a number. You are known and cared for as an individual. Because of the smaller class sizes teachers are able to easily help us individually with any questions we have. Also what I love about Park is knowing everyone! My class has 33 students and I know everyone really well! Walking through the hallways, I know everyone by name. I love being in one building with kindergarten through seniors. I had the opportunity this past year to be an ET (education teaching). I was able to assist elementary teachers every day. I got to make connections with younger students which was amazing. PCS also focuses on teaching us with a biblical world view so we can be prepared to go out into the world solid on our faith. We have 8 class periods & one class is always a Bible class. Junior year the Bible class is Understanding the Times. We learned about all religions and worldviews and discussed different issues in our world today. Our class dove deep into discussions.... Senior: I moved here my junior year after leaving a pretty terrible school and I am so happy we moved. Kids are all very nice and inclusive, we were all welcomed right of the bat. They are good kids here too, not very many kids that drink or do bad stuff. Teachers are all pretty nice and helpful and you can tell they actually care about their students.
