Leavitt Area High School
- Regional School Unit No. 52 (MSAD 52), ME
Sophomore: I like the high school more than the other schools in Turner, but it still has its flaws, like everything else. Like the fact that over 99% of the school is pasty white, and some of the staff are good people but not good teachers. And it feels like there's not enough variations in teaching styles for different classes within the same subject, and that could easily screw people over, but overall, I actually think it's a really great school and I'm proud to call myself a Leavitt student. Also, sports are really popular, almost too much. All the focus of the staff seems to rest on that department rather than the arts programs. Like, aside from announcements for a play, or an art show, or a concert, there doesn't seem to be much focus on it, which really sucks for the students who are in those programs.
