Lincoln Park High School
- Lincoln Park Public Schools, MI
Senior: Lincoln Park High School is a great school, but it’s downsides arise from its students and their motivation. The students’ parents’ lack of emphasis on education shows in low performance from the majority of students. The curriculum is then developed to assist the majority of the student body which in turn lowers the standard of the teachers and their lessons. Students who care about and understand the importance of their education are left without challenge (but AP classes are available). That being said, the school is an excellent school. The administration and teachers do their best to help students learn, but ultimately it is the students’ decision to listen. Technology is abundant to help students complete their work and many teachers would go out of their way to help a student if they simply asked dearly. The school will struggle becoming respected in Downriver until students begin taking initiative and taking advantage of the opportunities presented to them at LPHS.
