Hillside High School
- Hillside Board of Education, NJ
Senior: Hillside High School is a good school. This is my senior year and my experience here has been nothing short of memorable. The teachers all genuinely care about the students and want us to succeed, save a few bad apples. Our principal, Christine Sidwa, is always engaging with the students and communicating with them. I am very satisfied with the education Ive received at this school. I enjoyed being challenged with AP classes and exams. Clubs are also a great part of this school. Students can make virtually any club they want which gives us a great sense of authority and freedom. As president of both Poetry Club and the Gay-Straight Alliance Club, I can confidently say that without certain club, kids would feel trapped, restricted, and hate school more than they already do, which brings me to my last point. School spirit. This school is seriously lacking and that is disappointing. No one goes to games or participates at events.
