Works Here: Bullis is amazing! I am so impressed with the curriculum. Teachers challenge students academically, yet they incorporate a joyful hands-on learning experience. The enriching opportunities are endless in academics, arts, athletics, and service, which provides a well-rounded education and cultivates respect for others, confidence, and the joy of discovery. Faculty, students, and parents are incredibly welcoming and friendly. I grew up in the DC area and assumed a different experience. However, the modern-day folklore that lingers — nothing could be further from the truth! Everyone I've met is genuinely kind, caring, and helpful. Parent: The curriculum is thoughtful, encourages critical thinking and think outside the box. While the school has a strong focus in math and science, my child is getting a well rounded education with classes in Language Arts, History, Community, etc., electives in art, foreign languages and history of food as well as after school fun like drama, sports and animal lovers clubs! The daily updates are informative detailing by class what my child did that day and I like the sneak peak on what the higher grade levels are learning/reading/doing. The teachers encourage the students to advocate for themselves but they are always on hand to help! My child has developed strong friendships with kids at various grade levels which shows that there is a common comradery and closeness in this community. The best review I can give comes from my child who says that Ideaventions Academy "is the best school ever!" and we wholeheartedly agree.... Read 7 reviews

Senior: I like the atmosphere of this school very much. Both the teachers and officers are very enthusiastic. They will help me with patient if I encounter any problem in study or life. The type of courses is also very rich, which can meet my various needs. The classroom environment is very good, the number of students in one class is not much, therefore the teacher can take care of each student's learning state.
