Senior: Pottsville High School faculty displays an amazing amount of compassion for it's students. Every teacher goes above and beyond to not only make sure students understand the curriculum, but also make sure they feel comfortable in the environment. The school radiates promise for it's students. Pottsville also aims to connect with the members of the community and the parents of students. No matter how difficult, disorganized, or damaged a pupil may be, the willingness of the teachers to help never collapses. The school itself is maintained well and remains clean. Students have a wide variety of subjects to study and plenty of clubs to participate in. Sports, while not everyone enjoys them, are a large part of Pottsville as pep rallies and spirit week are largely participated in. Every person can find a some way to get involved and find classes or extra curricular courses they can enjoy!...Read 114 Reviews

Parent: We have had an overwhelming positive experience with our two children at the Steward School. While the school has many wonderful attributes, these stand out:- Encouraging and friendly teacher and faculty- A dynamic and engaging curriculum - A supportive, "safe space" for young children - A diverse and welcoming community of families- A more personalized, individual-child focused approach- A gorgeous campus - And happy, enriched students to show for it!Read 50 Reviews

Alum: From my short visit at Dardanelle High School, I can say it was pretty fun. Dardanelle High School is full of many of good people. The academics are above average and require a lot of critical thinking. The food is below mediocre. The teachers are great and know what they are doing when teaching. They give great one on one time in the classroom to help the students with whatever they need. You actually need to study for tests, there's really no such thing as winging it there. Overall, it is a great high school and I am absolutely grateful of all the people I met there and truly thank the teachers for giving me such a great education and prepping me for college!...Read 79 Reviews

Senior: I enjoyed my time at Danville High School. It offers plenty of opportunities. However, I do wish more attention was placed in other sports, clubs, and organizations. Clubs such as band and soccer did not get as much attention as football and basketball. Despite that, the school offers college credit through online courses at nearby colleges and allows students to go to college in-person. They even drive the students to college. The teachers are kind and attentive and the coursework is engaging for the most part...Read 35 Reviews

Senior: This is truly an amazing school. I value the relationship between my teachers and me. It is obvious they love what they do and want every student to succeed. Also, I know Academy has prepared me for college - the work load, albeit difficult, is manageable. Additionally, the sports facilites are incredible; I do not know many schools that have their own pool attached. That being said, I would like to see more attention given to the fine arts department. There are so many hidden artists in my grade that I did not know about until taking Studio Art. Finally, recognizing the minorities in the community, Norfolk Academy has taken steps to make their campus more inclusive this year. Overall, I have loved my high school experience at NA and highly recommend this school to students striving to make the most of their education...Read 143 Reviews

Parent: As the parent of two children in the lower school, I am extremely pleased with SSSAS. The Early Saints teachers make each day engaging for my 3-year-old. The monthly units the ES learn have prompted my son to apply what he’s learned to the world around him (the food unit they completed prompts a nightly discussion about which foods on his plate are muscle foods, brain foods, etc.). His teachers started a recent parent conference with 3 very specific adjectives to describe my son and given the examples they gave me, it is clear that really understand him as a whole child. ...My experiences with JK and K were also nothing short of fantastic; even during the pandemic the teachers were able to connect with my son. The K and 1st grade teachers have also provided my son a solid educational foundation; they have identified his strengths and given additional challenging work so that he hasn’t been bored. Any issues I’ve had have been quickly and appropriately addressed by his teachers...Read 132 Reviews
