Pioneer Senior High School
- Yorkshire-Pioneer Central School District, NY
Alum: Pioneer is part of a 4-school district that covers quite a lot of surface area around several small towns. It's quite rural and not very diverse, but it certainly has its merits. For those interested in farming, there are classes offered to directly suit those needs and even has a small barn on campus for extra experiential learning. There are several grass soccer fields and a nice turf field for the football team. Since I've left, they've totally refurbished the science labs and renovated the music suites. The music department throughout the entire district was phenomenal. Chorus is offered from 3rd grade up, band and orchestra from 5th grade up. The high school performs a musical every year which is always excellent, with students and community members alike welcome to perform in the pit orchestra. There are also quite a good variety of classes provided, including a decent selection of AP courses offered for potential college credit.

Kirov Academy of Ballet
- Private School
- Washington, DC
Works Here: I have been working at the Kirov Academy since 2017, and have found the staff & students friendly. The students are very talented, even performing for a week at the Kennedy Center in conjunction with a major company! The teaching staff, both academic and artistic are professional, run an excellent program that prepares the students well for both companies and university placement.

Attica Senior High School
- Attica Central School District, NY
Senior: The academics are very good compared to other schools in the area. My grade is very competitive to get the better grade. Some of the teachers are amazing and the way with the way they teach and work with the kids. A couple of them weren't as good as the others but they weren't awful. However, the food is absolutely awful and so is the community. I initially went to a smaller school where almost every one got along and at Attica, nearly everybody hated me. There are so many cliques and so much drama it's not even funny. Despite the kids who go there, the turn out for certain sports teams is always nice, lots of people go. Our guidance counselors also start with college presentations while we're in eleventh grade and we have a college fair every year. So, even though the people suck, the school and the teachers and people who are in charge do a very good job and getting people ready for college.

Perry Sr. High School
- Perry Central School District, NY
Senior: Before Perry I was that quiet girl you see sitting alone at a table during lunch. And yes I still sit alone. However I have many more friends than I ever did at Letchworth. I’m not that shy, quiet little girl I was before. Perry has changed me for the better. Now I have friends, I’m getting better grades, and I’m involved in more things like select Chorus and NTHS. The teachers at Perry are so kind and helpful towards the students. I have had a lot of fun here at Perry and will be sad to leave for college but I know I have to let go and move on.

Warsaw Middle/Senior High School
- Warsaw Central School District, NY
Senior: Being a pretty small school, and a senior of the largest class of the school, it is easy to say that many of the teachers clearly put effort into their work. When a student is struggling in class, their teacher will work with the students to boost their grade. If staying after/ during school with the teacher is not possible, students have the opportunity to seek help from the tutoring program in the study hall.
