Senior: My time at Saint James has been absolutely wonderful! I could go on forever about the great food, the fantastic friends I have made along the way, the interesting teachers I have met, the immaculate vibes the campus holds, and so many other things that could not fit under 1000 characters. SJS is a delightful place to be and to send your children. While I was there, I was really encouraged to come out of my shell and try things that were new and terrifying. My only complaint is the lack of diversity among the teachers. It would be nice to have a teacher who looked like me every once in a while. Alum: This is the perfect school for someone who is passionate about their art and has the drive to work hard at it. Senior: The teachers at North Hagerstown High School advocate for students through their learning. The teachers offer staying after for a program to tutor students in subjects and offer Saturday school to those who are struggling. The clubs at North Hagerstown High encourage students to create their own as well as find groups with similar interests (which could be beneficial for college). There are tons of opportunities for college credit as the school partnered with the local Community College (Hagerstown Community College) in programs such as the ESSENCE program (in which electives partner with HCC for college and high school credit). Middle School Student: While I do dislike the counseling and some of the teachers the majority of teachers and student I have met are very cool now they do cuss alot but it is middle school. Sophomore: When I first started high school I was nervous, but all the kids there were very nice and I was able to make new friends easily in the inclusive environment that Goretti has to offer. All the teachers there are very qualified and passionate about what they do. There sports teams are competitive and a lot of fun to participate in. Senior: I absolutely love this school! I feel comfortable here. The teachers are all really nice and supportive. I have loved learning here! The community is small and close. My favorite part of Smithsburg is our drama club. I have made so many friends and found a deep passion for acting. I really wish I could return to the actually school this year, but my teachers are doing a wonderful job with distance learning. I believe this is the best high school in Washington County.... Senior: Applying to WCTHS was the best decision I have ever made. I was so lost in 10th grade in what I wanted to do so I applied to Tech for Health Professions. Now 2 years later I am graduating with a Certification in Medical Assisting. We have a salon, auto shop, and restaurant. Everyone including the administration treats you like an adult so act like one. Tech doesn't tolerate immature behavior from anyone. Half the English department here will drive you crazy so take English over the summer. Taking AP classes might boost your GPA but you're not guaranteed college credit so I recommend taking Dual Enrollment or HCC college classes(They're all free! Plus they might give you scholarships!). When you're a senior you can take a half-day schedule on your non-tech day either work or academic release (in-person college classes). Some colleges even have online classes for high schoolers out of state that count toward a degree program. Don't waste these opportunities tech has to offer!... Read 181 reviews

Freshman: I had studied in this school since I was a freshman. I sincerely appreciate faculty members for passionately taking care of students. Above all, the college counselor had put a lot of efforts to help students be admitted to prestigeous colleges. He invited many college admission officers and held seminars for those who aspire to attend those colleges. Also, the school hired competent teachers to provide overflowing academic knowledges and opportunities to students. Among them, there was an English teacher who was a Harvard University graduate student and a science teacher, who worked under the U.S. government and university. Junior: I enjoy the environment in Boonsboro High school, it is very welcoming. I look forward to coming into school everyday and learning in all my classes.
