Senior: The atmosphere here at West Side is absolutely amazing! Being able to learn each subject through the Bible is truly something that I'm blessed to have! The teachers are always nice and will always help you, and the administration is always involved with the students. The food is always homemade and never any of that pre-made meals! West Side is the best school you can send your kid to in El Dorado, Arkansas!...Read 15 Reviews

Junior: Parkers Chapel, a place of opportunity and a truly great community. I have been at Parkers Chapel since Pre-School and it is the greatest community I have ever experienced. Being a small school the students and staff are closer together and the community has a strong bond that you cannot find in another school. The staff itself will go out of their way to ensure your success, the students will have a closer bond with you from being a smaller school and strive to all come together to accomplish something. The parents are strongly connected with the school by participating in after school events and donating to an activity. Parkers Chapel is a very close bonded school which everyone comes together as a community and I strongly recommend Parkers Chapel to any family looking for their child's new school...Read 49 Reviews

Parent: My kids have been attending Basis since before the pandemic, and we are so impressed! Rich academic curriculum, good inclusion of the arts, excellent opportunity for differentiation based on student needs. The teachers are dedicated and so are the parents to the kids' success. While the administration has been bumpy as the school has gotten established (only 5 years old), they earned their stripes during the pandemic. Organized, safety-focused and diligent about communication. We supplement school with sports leagues and scouting outside of school, which many parents do. Easy to do given the extensive choice you have in the DC area. Also appreciate the international study body with impressively bright students from all over the world. A real meritocracy, unlike other private schools that admit based on VIP status or connections/donations. In the next few years, this school will only continue to advance its place in the rankings...Read 43 Reviews

Alum: I attended El dorado high school for 4 years. I had numerous opportunities including ACT testing and preparation and AP advanced placement courses. There were also opportunities to take courses from the local community college for vocational opportunities or starting your college path. There was also the Eldorado Promise - a scholarship that helped pay for college. This program also made payments for placement testing as well as certain AP scores and Certain ACT and SAT test scores. They had great opportunities!...Read 178 Reviews

Parent: As long as you're in the Pre-AP program, Barton is great. There are some really great teachers in Pre-AP Math, Science, and English. Most of the problems in the regular classes are not the teachers' fault. They're dealing with kids who don't care, kids who will soon be the 4th or 5th generation on welfare, kids who will soon be in prison. It all goes back to parents. The kids whose parents value education excel...Read 8 Reviews

Alum: Growing up within the Junction City.. "District" as I should to call it, there's much to learn that I feel as if you couldn't obtain else where. Junction City, AR is just a tiny blip on the map. about a 1sq mile on the AR/LA border. More or less about 600 people (city limits) and 200 attend High School here. As much as I despise it sometimes, living in such a tight knit environment comes with its pros. Everyone knows everyone, which atleast here for me it wasn't a terrible thing. I didn't know about.. 60% of these people personally but it made for easy small talk or comfort from a familiar face. Although, the "I know your mom/pops/granddad's goldfish can get old very quickly from the teachers. Speaking of, with smaller more familiar classes it was easier for them to engage and connect with us personally. This went with the Administrative Staff as well. Our tiny little school gave what it had for us, to beat the "small school small opportunity" the best they could. Great Experience...Read 18 Reviews

Parent: My children have been attending Riverdale for the past 7 years and we have been extremely pleased with the level of education our little ones receive. The teachers are knowledgeable and caring, the classes are small, and the administration is responsive. Your child isn’t just a number at Riverdale, they’re family. Senior: ASMSA is a school for students who want to not only get a head start on their college education but also to find what they want to do once they finally get to college. ASMSA has an amazing staff that helps you find the right courses to take and guides you to graduation. While some of the facilities are repurposed and renovated from an old hospital, they are surprisingly clean! Unlike other high schools, ASMSA strives to create a less competitive and more collaborative environment for its students through a lack of school rankings and more collaborative assignments. While ASMSA might not be for everyone, it is definitely a welcoming place and I am excited to go back this coming school year...Read 23 Reviews
