New Riegel High School
#1 Best Public High Schools in Seneca County
- New Riegel Local School District, OH
- Rating 3.87 out of 5 23 reviews
Senior: What I like about New Riegel Schools is that the students are nice and welcoming, because I have dealt with bullying at other schools. Another aspect is that teachers are committed to get you as ready for college as possible, by teaching college classes and giving one on time on things students struggle with. After switching to New Riegel schools I was behind in my academics, but the teachers there helped catch me up, now as a senior I am excelling and taking multiple college classes. My favorite part about New Riegel Schools is the art department for two reasons. The first reason is the supplies and tools there are everything a art student could need, and if not they are willing to supply it at the drop of a hat. Secondly and most importantly my teacher Mrs. Hibbard has really improved my art skills in every way.

Old Fort High School
#2 Best Public High Schools in Seneca County
- Old Fort Local School District, OH
- Rating 3.69 out of 5 42 reviews
Senior: Old Fort High school is an extremely small school that's located in an even smaller community. The school may not offer every sport/extra-curricular activity, but they do offer just about everything else. I can honestly say that I have had the same opportunities that the surrounding schools in the same district have. The teachers are kind and very approachable. Every staff and board member wants to see each and every student succeed. The only area in the school that I would like to see improve is the sports. The sports the school offers are great and are full of talented athletes. However, the number of sports offered are slim. Because it is such a small school, they do not have the funds to build facilities that are required for other sports to participate in.

Hopewell-Loudon Local High School
- Hopewell-Loudon Local School District, OH
- Rating 3.75 out of 5 36 reviews
Senior: Hopewell-Loudon has outstanding student organizations and extra curricular activities that anyone can be involved in. The school also offers a wide variety of courses to students looking to advance their studies. However, the social atmosphere is very exclusive. Most transfer students have a difficult time fitting in with other students right off the bat.

North Central Academy - Fremont
- Public School
- Tiffin, OH
- Rating 4 out of 5 3 reviews
Alum: After coming from a larger school it's a refreshing experience. The teachers have more one on one with the students and will help if asked. If a student has a hard time studying in a normal public school environment with a lot of kids or too much paper work, NCA is a much more relaxed and encouraging experience.
