Freshman: I love going to Shattuck, the teachers care about the students and the athletics are amazing! Shattuck is getting me ready for College by working on my timemamgement skills, study habits, and teaching us how to take responsibility of ourselves and our actions. My coaches work very hard to make us better and think about what we want to do and where we want to go after high school. We pend time in the weight room and have practice 4-5 days a week so we are getting so much out of being here learning from these professionals. My soccer schedule is worked into my academic schedule and the teachers, coaches, advisors all work with me to help me create good habits in and out of the classroom. I feel like I have lots of support from teachers and the classroom size is small enough I can get help when I need it. I have teammates from all over the world and I feel Shattuck does a very good job making everyone feel welcome and I love making friends from all over the world.... Read 94 reviews

Senior: Northfield Senior High School provides opportunities and preparation for those who are interested in attending college, service academies, ROTC programs, trade or professional schools, or to start a career in the work force right out of high school. The teachers are very supportive and the guidance office provides counseling and support for your future pursuits. I certainly learned a lot in my high school career and I appreciated how well supported I felt in choosing to pursue Post-Secondary Education Options. Several teachers have and will continue to make a lasting impression on me and my drive to achieve for the rest of my life. Northfield High School promotes and offers opportunities to serve our local community and to participate in very competitive high school sports. Senior: Tight, close-knit school where everybody knows a little about everyone else. Most students and faculty are good people who want to see you succeed. The school used to have pretty good teachers but in the last year or so many of the old teachers have left. The school had to find many replacements in a short amount of time, so some of the new teachers are really lacking when compared to the old ones. Sophomore: The small amount of teachers at Arcadia makes them all very approachable. All teachers are referred to by their first names, which makes for a more personal experience. This school is project based, with most students completing a project each quarter, which is a useful school in college. The class sizes are really small and everyone is really welcoming but still tight-knit. There are distinct friend groups but they intermingle and no one is left out. There are opportunities to take classes at the Northfield High School if needed, for example I know someone who has taken AP Physics there. Transportation is not provided. Alum: The teachers are amazing, the students not so much. Some of the students are extremely rude and dangerous. I enjoyed my time at the ALC and it really helped me put my life back on track. Senior: The teachers and staff at Faribault Senior High School are dedicated and hard-working. They always do their best to help every one of their students succeed. This school produces several valedictorians in each year's graduating class; the result of the effort both teachers and their students put in to succeed. The student body is wonderfully diverse and there is a wide variety of activities, clubs, and sports teams as well. The non-athletic clubs and activities have a fair amount of success at state-wide competitions; the opposite is true for the majority of the sports teams. Even so, there are many opportunities for athletes at all levels to improve themselves and ultimately make their respective teams more competitive. The community around the high school is extremely supportive. Many businesses and families give a lot of their time and money to make sure Faribault Senior High School runs at its optimum level and that each student has every opportunity to reach their full potential.... Sophomore: This deaf school has been good and deaf cultures, social media, sports, and education. This is so great to into deaf school and uses in Amercian Sign Language and there are the dorms who far as long as they lived and stay at the dorm. It already supports them give to access reading, writing, math, science, and others. I've been good for Minnesota State Academy For The Deaf and this is good to experience for deaf cultures, deaf history, deaf school, and etc. Deaf staff and some hearing staff at my school and most of the deaf teachers. So, important to access using American Sign Language is so beautiful, and Deaf people need to communicate with them including English, reading, writing. They would understand what did they said, an example of work, hearing people, etc. This is a lot for an experience about my school is an awesome and good because of Deaf people and they will understand to connect them....
